I've just bought one of these. My verdict in a nutshell:
- picture surprisingly good, especially if you can get the projector in the middle of the screen, so no keystone correction is necessary
- significant video delay, which impacts lip-sync in films and makes action games unplayable. I'm surprised this wasn't picked up in this review TBH.
- OSD clear & easy to use
- pretty noisy and kicks out a fair amount of heat, despite using LEDs.
Summary: Impressive for the money, but spend more of you want to play games or want good picture/audio sync in films.
Great summary and excellent value.

Geekanoids . I have a challenge. Projector 5 meters away from screen. Need to get some decent audio to it, but don’t want ugly cables running across my open beams. Is there a blue tooth transmitter I can you use to send a signal to blue tooth speakers placed by my screen?

I saw Your projector have rotate option in the keystone and mine dont have it , do You upgrade the firmware? Its this a Vankyo v630

Hi there!!!! Such a well done and thorough review!! thank you! I have a question however, is it possible to get the image even bigger? as if, you were able to take the projector back even further than 8 or 9 feet, would the image grow and grown? I am looking for a good solution for night time video murals, and wondering if this would be a good choice for that, even at night the mural wouldnt necessarily need to be totally bright just present enough to be enjoyed, but as BIG as an image as i can afford. Any thoughts?
Yes you can go bigger, but image loses definition and contrast. 92” is the sweet spot.

Yes there is an option in the OSD to switch to rear projection mode.

I don't see any sort of 'zoom' control. Does the projector have a 'zoom' function?

It has digital zoom to reduce image size. Not optical, so a reduction in image size will negatively impact resolution.
My one didn't come with a screen, so consider adding one to your order if you need one.

Nice review! Unfortunately I find the fan noise too obtrusive, but I guess for this price there isn't any available less noisy at that budget price.

You're watching a video of a video which depends on the capability of his equipment and usually doesn't reflect the actual picture being output by the projector.
Based on my own experiences of this product, I have no complaints about colour and dynamic range.
