Bravo with the cover, I enjoyed it. ^^ Goodbye to a world indeed, a farewell that starts quiet, but slowly rises, original intent almost pushed to the side, somehow sounding like an energetic, almost _triumphant_ chorus of limitless effort, standing tall and lively, even with the inevitable farewell coming to the fore, winding down... lingering... and lastly distorting with those last words until it just... Stops.
The original sounds like a sad goodbye to a loved one as the world ends. This one sounds more like a last laugh, like sure the world is ending but you're en route to a much more stable planet anyways.
Of all the existing and available versions that you can hear, it is the most incredible, because it offers peace, and the desire to continue evolving. Thank you for an excellent song, in this version.
The original song always makes me emotional but this... This made me cry, I always related the song with a sad or sentimental goodbye, this one made me for some stupid reasons feel like if I had to remember the great times with a friend that will no longer be there, love your job man, hope this gets more likes and be sure you have now my heart❤

I listen to the original a lot more than I probably should, but this song is such a beautiful piece. The original to me has always felt like a song about an individual slowly coming to terms with their own death and finding joy within it. As the song progresses, you see this character grow more and more accepting of the life they've lived, and at the end, they pass onto the afterlife knowing they get to finally see the people they lost throughout their lives. Your version made me think of a story concept I had a long while ago named "Our Remaining Days". Essentially, it's a story about a man who has been dealt a terribly depressing life full of strife and pain. It's revealed relatively quickly to the reader (and quite suddenly) that a world-ending meteor is to strike Earth in 72 days-and despite Humanity's best efforts, nothing can be done. The story follows this man having to come to terms with the fact that he only has 72 days left to live the life he's always wanted, knowing full-well that life as we know it will soon come to an end. The final stretch of your rendition makes me think of this character in his final moments as the meteor strikes. He's smiling, and despite this being the end of his world, he is still thankful for the chance to have finally lived as he always has. Amazing work Logan.
