Yeah Nitro wouldn't release until 1999 on the N64. Sounds like an awesome Christmas present. The best Christmas present I remember was getting the Elimination Chamber playset from Mattel! Those toys were awesome!
I love the music in this. Especially for generic/ non real music. When I played this as a boy I didn't know who most of the wrestlers were as I had only really seen WWF. I obv knew Hogan and the big names who'd been in WWF. I was confused by the bizarre frankenstien character and sorta non licensed wrestlers.

I wonder if we will ever get a rom hack of wwf WrestleMania 2000 with wcw nwo reavege roster also ric flair of course. I seen somewhere where someone said someone plan on or is working on a wcw nwo live rom game whatever that will turn out to be if it happens. I personally would love a wwf WrestleMania 2000 engine wcw 90s game.that plays on real hardware would be a dream come true
@@jasoncline2119 interesting idea. I feel like I've seen very similar rom hacks. The characters seem like they can be transferred pretty easily from game to game. A dream mod I would love a virtual pro wrestling 2 mod that adds in the full rosters from Revenge and Mania 2000 with a season mode that would allow you to transfer from promotion to promotion like back in the day.
@@H20X I'm assuming he is referring to the switch online subscription service where you pay extra for the ability to play N64 games they choose to play whenever. Online multiplayer is available as well but it's random when they add games.
