I was honestly just thinking about this same topic. This day in age, especially with us girls we’re always comparing ourselves to somebody or something. It could be social media or even our close friends. It’s hard to build a boundary with-in yourself, so you understand that not everything is for you at that moment. As someone who’ve accomplished a lot as a 18years old, and now at 21 feels like I’m stuck of falling behind when it comes to school, or financially. It’s really hard some days to not be able to compare myself to others, when I know and understand that I have my own path laid out for myself.

IRL, they would have been considered middle class and not a part of the ton. Much like how Mdm. Delacroix makes the dresses for the ladies of the ton, but doesn't get invited to the balls her customers wear them to.
Most of the couples on this show seem pretty solid. Especially this one.
