Boise dominated from start to finish. They finally got out of whatever slump they've been on. They actually looked like a playoff team, despite only scoring 21 points. Boise dominated from start to finish. They finally got out of whatever slump they've been on. They actually looked like a playoff team, despite only scoring 21 points. Many people (and I mean MANY people) had UNLV winning this game. In my eyes, the game was sealed when UNLV broke off for an 80 yard run on the first play of a drive, and Boise's defense made a goal line stand and stopped the Rebels from scoring.

No offense to Hunter is pretty good on both sides of the ball, but Colorado has three losses, and none were ranked teams, meanwhile, Ashton is carrying his team to victory. Even though defenses change their whole game plan to try and stop in and they still can’t. He is simply the most dominant player in college football history, arguably let alone the season.

He’s about 180 yards away after this game. It’s no guarantee he’ll break the record because he’ll have to play Georgia or Texas in BSU first playoff game but he could definitely do it.

@ here is an argument in favor of Travis my dad wrote: The Heisman isn’t all about stats. It is for the most outstanding player in college football. Travis Hunter is an All-American at two positions. No one else is a finalist for an offensive award (Biletnikoff) and defensive award (Bednarik). He’s the only player in the country that the opposition has to worry about for 60 minutes in every game. Jeanty is great, and he’s very deserving of Heisman consideration, but nobody in the country has the overall impact that Hunter has.
