They sit even in carries too even though Jeantys played 13 games. RB is so much harder to be good at with the speed and strategy in todays game, which is why RBs get less carries than in the 80s. You can try your hardest to discredit breaking the record, but every year the upper quarter of RBs get farther and farther from it. 1000s of RBs, and none close. Closest there’s been are two RBs with 4 NFL linemen and not even half Jeantys yards after contact.

I really think he's the best ever at positioning his body to take contact and deliver stiff arms. They seem effortless, and the WAY he runs helps preserve his body. You don't see him taking hard hits, because he just lightly bounces off of people that try to hit him hard. It takes a full wrap up tackle or a lucky trip to bring him down. Honestly very few crazy plays on there, notice the record of the opposing teams. People were saying he has no O line but he gets pretty good coverage in most of these plays, meanwhile opposing defense are weak. Sure plenty of yards rushed but not seeing something super crazy here.
UNLV had the best rush defense I saw the entire year. Seeing them stack the box with nine guys and Boise line up with Jeanty alone in the backfield with everybody knowing what's coming was so fun to watch.
