I do use manuka honey as a mask on my skin, leave it for 15 minutes and wash off. Leaves my skin smooth and soft but I did notice that my face feels itchy after applying it. Have you ever experienced this or perhaps it's just me?
@@itsbreellis Thanks for the quick reply, yes I guess. Do you think I should stop or just continue? It's just a mild reaction which goes away after a while
Definitely always nice when people say your skins healthy after you've been using Manuka + ginger face mask. Iv been using it for a few years and as a 51 years old bloke I can tell you without bragging that iv had my age put at 30ish!!!!! No word of a lie!!!!!!!
Manuka honey is the only natural remedy that has ever worked for me. I did manuka masks 2x a day for a couple weeks and my acne was basically gone! My skins gone to shit again after reacting to some products so I’m gonna do this trick hopefully it still works for me :)
@@omarshamsi8208 I'd leave it on for as long as I could, I'd use it as a cleanser and just leave it there for like 15 mins while I got ready for the day. Evening I'd leave for even longer. I don't do this anymore but as long as its raw pure honey, doesn't even necessarily need to be manuka just raw
Manuka works like a charm. I used it when i had a bad rash on my upper arm. Not sure what was th cause. My skin discoloured badly. I applied Manuka honey wit UMF 35. In 2 weeks, the rash n discoloration were gone. Now I'm using it as a face mask before I go to sleep. My face looks hydrated the next day. N yeah, this is gonna be in my beauty regime. Not gonna skip it.
I actually leave mine on ALL NIGHT. I do have occasional eczema flares, so I mix a bit of Aquaphor with Manuka. Makes me glowy and evens out my skin color. LOVE IT
it has been studied by science as a relief for the darkness due to shaving . pseudofolliculitis is the word. it can be used to even the color of black people who have dark areas where the skin has been damaged due to shaving. manuka is whoppingly high. 40 dollars. cheaper ones are less effective. they have a rating number.
Manuka honey is amazing across the board! Many years ago, I had an injury to my skin (an infection that caused lesions) and manuka honey healed the wounds without leaving any scars. My daughter too had a horrible burn from scalding water all over her chest - it required skin graphs it was so bad. Manuka honey healed her skin without scar tissue. The way the active honey works is it eats/breaks down dead flesh so new skin cells can grow. Its amazing. On wounds, as a face wash, as mask, moisturizer… I will never not use manuka honey.
I feel sorry for all these women spending thousands on all these non sense products. I make my own. Its easy to do. Pure cocao butter, shea butter, high grade manuka honey, coconut oil and small amount of almond oil, plus some pure frankences oil. Best product You might want to get yourself some black soap as well My sister in her late 40s, she has had bad skin all her life cleared up within a few days after she used my products.
@@Jedi_Are_Scum I’ve seen them at pretty much any health food store. It’s just a type of soap that uses ash. I’ve never used one but have heard a handful of people suggesting. I actually forgot all about that suggestion! I still need to check it out.
what UMF did you use? did you know that studies show different UMF are effective on different bacterias? and actually, some lower UMF worked better than the higher ones. :D interesting to know :D
I've been using manuka honey for ages and it really is so much better. I put it on burns straight after cooling them down with water and the burns don't hurt after a few hours and are often gone over night :)
I used sulphuric acid on my face for 6 months straight. All of my skin problems are completely gone! My face is now also completely gone. I take care of my skeleton now…
I have a small milia on my top eyelid and it’s just been sitting there for months. I researched how to get rid of milia with home remedies and Manuka honey was a suggestion. Do any of you experience milias?
awww, thank you for posting this video, it made me get off my butt and go to Whole Foods and splurge on some Manuka honey! I'm also going to start using it for my teas!
wow! you still get your period?!! In your late 40's??!!!! You go girl. Just kidding. You look So beautiful and young and full of life and energy. I'm actually a guy in my early 40's, or late late 30's to be less accurate, and I just slapped some of that honey on my face lol. But I also look amazing, just trying to keep my amazingness going.
Has anyone else tried Manuka Honey? If so what did you use it for??
Bre. My name is manuka haha!!! And manuka honey is amazing, its yummy, it heals coughs and sore throats, and its GREAT for facemasks!!!

I use this as an aftershave instead of chemical aftershave and it helps keep my face hydrated and reduces razor bumps and Ingrown hairs
Thats a good idea!

Same here! Bentonite clay is a natural one that always breaks me out. Manuka is always faithful!
Same here, I breakout from bentonite clay and I think calys are not for me so I never bother using clays on my face.

Did you wash with soap? Or water
Interesting. What do you use in your hair? So long
Very little. Less heat the better is my motto and its helped a lot!
@@itsbreellis yea that’s cool I just noticed your hair is long wounder what u use
Now, try it with some other type of honey, and see if Manuka is really all that different.

Can this be used as a hair mask as well?
Yes definitely, just be careful bc it can be tough to wash out because it's so darn sticky

Is this fo the Dry Skin?
HELLO! Does manuka doctor remove open pores?
Not exactly sure, but it works really well!
Wearing it right now on my face🧏🏼♀️

Unfortunately I don’t! I do know Manuka is great for anti bacterial and inflammation so it sounds like it may help! Hope it does!
Bre. Thank you much!
Of course!!
Is there a reason you decided not to do it daily even though you liked it?
If done daily it would be pretty expensive unfortunately
I think a few times a week is fine
What ever is left on your hands just rub it into your hands.
