Thank you for voicing your opinion... just doing the best I can... to be clear, I do not consider myself anywhere in the league with Rob Halford... he is the one and only Metal God... just pay tribute to him and Judas Priest for inspiring a generation. Best, Frank
Whaoooo, Who else than Simon Phillips to play Simon Phillips part 30 years later! Vocals, so close than Rob H. in the 80's and amazing guitar solo's... Sin after sin 👍 Thanks for sharing ❤
This is amazing. Simon Phillips' touch on hard rock/metal is so good. The odd bits he does here and there really do add to the music rather than hindering it. He is the best f****** drummer of all time. He can do anything, from metal to jazz, he does it all. And the whole rendition is superb, everyone is on top form. I only wish i could have been there.
Scuse me, I think this guy, Francis Casciato, is doin a very well performed version of this song. Rob Halford was a BEAST of a vocalist, very not so much now these days 2016. But hes still got the bulk of the JP vocals there. What Francis and Simon and all the others did was to recreate a song that has maybe forgotten a bit. I think the album "sin After Sin" is an epic metal album and not only cause it's hard edge songs, but by the almost jazzy tunes and ballads that I love.
Enjoyed this quite a bit. Frank, you performed admirably on a very difficult song. Halford was freaking crazy good on this record and his range was all over the place.
IMO, the solo Broderick did was ass. He didn't learn the KK solo !!!! The singer was killer !!! Of course Phillips is bang on and Andy Timmons is always good too.
Criticisms of the singer here are totally ridiculous. Dude sounds really close to Halford and more than pulls this off, which is insane in and of itself.
Simon, can you join Judas priest for awhile? ask them to play the ENTIRE SIN AFTER SIN ALBUM!!!This would be monumental!!!those guys are great! but its not ROB and the gang!!!!
You'd think Simon would play with guys who had it down better. It's hard to find a singer in the caliber of Halford and this ain't it. Plus they are playing at such a slow tempo. Which is why priest don't play it like that because it sucks and drags. And no typical git sounding guitarists can save it from sounding kinda shitty, sorry but that's my humble opinion.
Chris Broderick is an amazing guitar player. But 10 seconds of the whammy bar on a song that has an over 2 minute solo with the whammy bar is not the SINNER at all. Bullshit.
@A7WFG he sounds very good but moves around too quickly . even though rob is gay he usually doesn`t flaunt like a diva on stage . this singer needs to watch some more footage of rob live

Francis Casciato keep rocking brother. I enjoyed this. fvck all the ass hats hatin. Mr. halford's shoes are immensely difficult to fill.
Francis you're doing an excellent job ,few can sing in this range.I think Rob would approve for sure,Best Wishes!
Sounded great! Enjoyed listening to this awesome song.

- AWESOME!!! Judas Priest should have made Simon Phillips their permanent drummer.
Simon was hired as a session drummer. I think he didn't want to continue playin' with JP anymore
Im sure they would've loved to, but simon is a session legend, he doesnt stay with any one band for more than a few years.
I wish they could have somehow, but he did his own thing and I respect the path he chose.
@@ironmaidenfan2144 He already committed to play in another band when they asked.
Tremenda versión!!! Gracias
Wholey shit I thought that was Rob Halford... This guy is KILLIN it \m/\m/ AWESOME
Singer does an excellent job.
VERY good at Halford's style on this song. I don't think I've heard anyone covering his vocals that sounded as good as this guy.
man i wish simon had stayed in metal. nothing better than a jazz-trained metal drummer!
LPcustom76 great comment
Did you here Simon rejoin MSG live around 2011?
Thats why les binks was great too
Simon's Jazz / Fusion stuff is KILLER.
Great job done on a classic song.

I totally agree, he's as good as I've heard when it comes to covering Halford's vocals.
Absolutely!

hi tomtom
i wonder how long simon had to listen to the original to get it down again.
As a true bad ass Professional like he is, a few listens would serve.
One day tops..maybe a few hours. Simon is a pro.
Very good men
Zuperdrummer's correct. We sometimes swap Bob for Rob and v-v, dont' we. (Robert Kennedy)
That would be very cool, right?
Good vocals, raspy asia original
Only 89 likes..............and you worry about a corona virus?
Bob Halford guys...
the singer is billion times cooler and better than ripper!
What is with the sideview? smh!

Singer is excellent. Your ears need cleaning out. The solo was ass.

You're not the brightest light bulb here.
