  • My Legend Suspension is the best modification ever! Why did I wait so long to do this? The suspension is a great all around improvement with an annoying attribute. Check this video out to see my experience after riding for a while on the Legend AXEO Suspension.

    Thank you for making these videos.
    I'm buying a new Indian Scout Bobber 20 and these videos help decide which upgrades I should perform first. Additionally they help judge upgrade difficulty and seeing as I'm no mechanic (even less room/ tools than your garage shop) I'm probably going to have to pay a shop to do the installs. Anyway, thank you for the videos, love the Bobber, can't wait for mine to arrive!

    I enjoy your videos, I’ve got a new Scout for my first bike and about 2k miles under my belt in the last couple months. Every question I’ve wondered about the bike or questioned myself, I’ve been able to find the answers on your channel!

    Been looking to upgrade the suspension on my scout, great vid, also searching for something to raise the bike a bit idk if it’s available

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  2 года назад

      Raising the bike's rear suspension is easy with either 11.5-12 Progressive 444 or with Indian Piggy Back shocks.

    Thanks for review been thinking about downsizing to Indian scout little confused I understand rear suspension is not very good the front brakes are not good horrible fuel mileage 100 plus miles is not very good I'm confused LOL

      Haha, yeah. It is a small bike on size but now power. Indian went cheap on a few things to keep them below 13K. Easily fixed though.

    Also have you seen the Brembo break kit ? Thinking about that also

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  2 года назад

      I have, but most of the braking problem with the Indian Scout is the suspension and single disk. You probably won't get much more out of a Brembo.

    I’m getting the electronic cruise here very soon within the month and I got a different seat the mustang seat I really wanted a saddle man but couldn’t get on before my trip in July but the mustang was on sale where I got it for $350 instead of $430 now I’m ll thinking the six shooter exhaust and different suspension any other suspension brands you recommend for the front and rear as I’ll do this probably next year. Also do you recommend tuning your bike even if it says it don’t need it

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  3 года назад +1

      Awesome! The mustang is still a good seat. As for tuning, maybe - it does a few things that could improve your ride. The limits are removed (which adds more fun) but moreover the throttle response is improved and the twitchy throttle is calmed down a bit. That's about all you get from a tune w/out adding intake and exhaust

    Was yours very stiff at first? I weigh 140lbs and didn't add any pre load. I can barley even move the forks now. I've heard they may have a 1,000 miles break in period. Was that your experience?

    Have you noticed any difference in braking performance with the new front suspension? Better, worse, about the same?

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  3 года назад

      So, not so much braking performance as ZERO front-end dive. So that makes hard braking easier and couple that with braking + cornering it makes it tons, tons better.

      Never had any issues huh. That’s awesome man. I’ve never had issues with my scout bobber either but I think I will be making upgrades because after all. . . they are upgrades and optional to increase performance from the already awesome stock performance just because I like better than stock performance. 😁
