I tried yesterday to find a web-based video/audio recorder, so I could record from the Mountain (aka job/work). I thought I'd found one but it didn't capture audio. Waaa. This camera is just so wonderful. Choosing a tree to situate the camera within so hopefully Hyena will not find it interesting to inspect and chew upon. Wow! @10:09 I believe the Matriarch brought back a huge piece of meat. Fantastic. Being able to hear their many different vocalizations in the context of their situations, learning their world and their interactions on their terms. The lowing Moms do in talking with their Cubs. The squittering and contact-calling from Cubs to their Moms. It's all just so excellent! Question: how old do you feel the youngest Cub might be? Also, the darker silver Adult, is it possible they are a yearling from another Mother, maybe darker-silver is female and from the Matriarch? Or might this darker silver Adult be an older Silbing male trying to visit trying to stay close to his Natal Clan? The Darker-Silver does appear again @14:37 , and seems a bit thinner than the females, so perhaps they are male?
