Thanks Scott. I never gave the Style Advisor a second look. Definitely a good way to expand my bag a tricks. I hope you are well. We've had quite the high wind and huge waves on the Central Coast so far this year.

Thanks, Ted. And yeah... I was out on the bluffs south of Carmel yesterday and the winds were fierce. Be well.

Scott: It was useful and interesting. I never thought about using that tool as a teaching tool. That is worthy of a thumbs up and you got it. I too will start using it more and looking at what it is doing and try to pick up some new knowledge. Thanks for sharing this true secret.

Excellent Scott. When I first saw that you had done a video on AI Style Advisor, I was a bit surprised - you being such a master at using Photo RAW. This is a great lesson to us all that we can all continue to learn from other people's approaches to editing. Thank you!!!

Hi, picking up some tips and tricks on using 2024 but I do wish not just yourself but others would take off the blinkers when it comes to image content for your videos, I don't take portraits, city scenes nor land/seascapes just wildlife so please more wildlife/bird content. Thank You. Russ.

Hi Russ... appreciate you watching and the comments. Alas, I do little to no wildlife photography.

Thanks for the idea of checking on the ON1 advisor to see what they have done. I have looked at accouple and noticed that even though they have an effect in the stack the mask is black or the opacity is 0, therefore rendering the effect on the photo zero. Wonder why they have done this?

That is certainly odd ... Perhaps it's akin to adaptive presets that apply certain filters to specific subjects (person, architecture, etc.) and if those objects aren't in the photo, the filter has a net-zero effect. Still odd... couldn't really say why it happens, though.

A very good idea to see how a photo can be styled
If ON1 collect user information like other programs, this could be an extension of the use of information gathered across the user base. [ONI Team - section] ?
I will definately look at this more as a learning tool as well as normal use after watching this.

Not sure if ON1 is doing a “collective” style based on all users. Nevertheless it’s a good leaning tool in addition to a style jumpstart. Have fun!

I have downloaded the free trial to see if this works as a plug in for Affinity Photo. I watched an earlier video of yours and it does, but it was Affinity Photo 1…..so do you know if this works as a plug in for AP v2?I have tried but I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong. Thanks 😊

Yes, Photo RAW 2024 works with Affinity Photo 1. I just did a quick test having AP invoke PR's Photoshop plugin and it worked fine. I haven't modified my setup with AP/PR in a few years. scottdavenportphoto.com/blog/on1-photo-raw-and-affinity-photo-round-trips-plug-ins

@@ScottDavenport I noticed I forgot to put version 2 of AP🤦🏻‍♀️, so I updated it. Would I do the same thing for APv2?

It seems that Photo Raw 2024 is not for me. I have a lot of problems with speed. Sometimes it hangs and doesn't react for a long time and I don't see any improvements regarding how fast browsing is. And I have a very fast, latest generation PC with plenty of RAM.
    Thanks Scott
