Realistically, the only things keeping the 13R from being a flagship is the lack of quad hd, wireless charging, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a lower IP certification. Still, many people don't care about those features. Furthermore, utilizing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 generation 3 with 12 gigabytes of RAM will give it flagship power. Literally, for $600 there's not a lot to complain about.
You won't even be able to notice the extra ppi the 13 has over the 13R. Quad HD vs FullHD+ at that screen size cannot be seen with naked eye. The main difference i'd say between the 13 and 13R is the telephoto performance.
@robinyumnam2646 frankly, I noticed the difference with quad HD display. Moreover, I purchased the 13. Specifically, I traded my 12 for it. Normally, I wouldn't upgrade the soon but, I felt the design changes of the 13 would greatly benefit me.
@@dr.fitprofessor1970 I do think that some people unfairly judge the 13R for not being "perfect at everything," forgetting that it's $600 or less. But compared to other mid phones, I find it quite capable. I also like that it has virtually no bloatware at all with Oxygen OS. Mine came with Netflix and one other app pre-installed, everything else is pretty much just OS.
@Fister_of_Muppets indeed, I've owned many OnePlus phones and bloatware is always at a minimum. This year, I traded my 12 and purchased the 13. Again, very little bloatware.
It's a pretty good value for the money. Although, I'm waiting to see if the rumors are true and OP is going to produce a mini 13. I have small hands so, that would be perfect.
Your hands look clean so I trust your judgment on the phone. You also had a screen protector on your phone. I hope your not one of these savages who don't put a case on a phone that's your daily driving. I won't be buying this phone but your video makes me want to buy one for my brother. He lives in the virgin islands and he says the phone company is different down there.
*CORRECTION: **5:59** I Should have said no option to record Ultrawide video in 4k. Ultrawide video is available in 1080P*
