I got my OP 13 on January 9 and it's a beast of a phone. Excellent battery life and it's slightly wider than my OP 12 was. Great phone though. This review of the OP 13 and 13R is excellent. Very well done.
I too have 7t. Enquired for battery and they said no longer available 😂😂I wanted to use as backup phone. Camera of oneplus 13 was very bad especially macro shot. Not sure what they were doing. Will wait for s25 and then decide. 13r looked great with flat screen and for price. Only thing I don't like is oneplus underclocks r series
Great! I'm glad to see a comparison between the regular 13 and the 13 are cuz I was battling between the two. The biggest thing I love about the 13 series is the battery, so it's really good to see that it's pretty similar on both products. Thanks for another great video! Mark
still on team OP7 pro until this day, in almost 5 years the phone went through hell with me, I've even dropped it by accident from the 6th floor and still working to this day, but I think that it's time that the General takes his well deserved retirement and swicth to the OP13, you will not be forgotten OP7 pro
I still have a working and not even scratched One Plus 6 (SIX). Yeah, I bought it in 2018. The ONLY thing that is weak now is the battery. I highly recommend OnePlus phones. I believe I will be ordering 3 - 13R phones soon. I'm still trying to be sure I can swing the cost and such. Plus I'm debating on the "trade in." I have a feeling I won't get much for my really old one.
@atlas7070 great phone! I'm still getting used to the bottom swipe to switch apps as the OnePlus 8 seems more intuitive to me but it's probably cause that's what I was familiar with. Camera, speed, battery on the 13 is elite level
I always think if you can buy a phone using last year's premium chip and at way lower price, it's always the better option. Sure it'd be great to be using the latest and greatest tech but an S24 Ultra is not going to become a bad phone overnight just because there's an S25 now. The 13R reminds me a lot about the heydays of Oneplus as a flagship killer. Mid-range price with near-high end specs.
8:47 I would like to state that the Oneplus 13 (idk about the 13r) does come with a charger, ONLY in specific regions, one of those being the u.s. With that said, I can't wait for mine to come in in 2 days or so
As you say, I think the 13r would be good enough for most people's needs. I'll probably replace my Oneplus 11 with a 13, because I can. Here in UK they don't come with a power adaptor in the box.
Great comparison. I'm highly tempted by the 13R as an upgrade to my Pixel 6. The thing is my Pixel 6 still works pretty well and Google extended the software support a few years. Do you think it'd be a big upgrade? I also recently got the OnePlus Pad on sale for under $400 and it's been incredible. First tablet I've owned since the Nexus 7.
If you're a gamer, of course, it'll make a difference. If you're like most ppl using your phone to open up Facebook & messenger 😂 then you're fine to wait it out with your pixel.
@@katinasoutherland7693 Yeah true. I am a power user, but on the gaming side, I have a desktop with an RTX 3080 so I don't play mobile games much. However, on my new OP Tab, I've been dabbling in some games, and they have come a long way in terms of graphics. Pretty wild for mobile hardware.
I'm in the same boat. Just kind of itching for something new! Really wish we could use Oppo Find X8 or Xiamoi 14t in the states. I checked out the Xiaomi 14t and it looks like it has all the verizon bands besides 71 and mmwave bands but everything I read says they won't work on Verizon, well actually I have US Mobile but the same thing. @craigslue I hear you. There are so many great phones overseas for great prices, but if they are going to be limited in function on our networks, then it's a moot point. I'm technically under Verizon as well as I use Visible mobile.
It's a big upgrade for sure (though camera won't be a big one), but since your current phone seems fine I think you can hold off and wait for the next iteration/additions to tech down the line.
why none of the youtuber are talking about audio experience on one plus 13. audio experience is worst on this due to lack of Dolby atoms support both on speaker as well on headphone?

After doing digging and reading the reviewers guide, and some google searches here and there it seems youre correct. It supports up to 80w but the charger included only does 55w. Interesting. Thanks!
I have a OP13R coming but the single cell battery and only 55 watt charger was something One Plus did that did not make me happy. Not a deal breaker but caught me off guard ...not in a good way. I was taking for granted that the 13R would have a super fast charging dual cell... Sucks lol. Time will tell. I was going to switch my order to an OP13 but One Plus made it too difficult so I just went with the 13R. I think it will all be good. Good review!
I just want to warn everyone ordering the OP13 from the EU; there is no charger in the box anymore! EU has passed some new laws that don't directly relate to that, but OnePlus has decided to still leave the chargers out of the box for EU consumers. USB A to USB C is still included though. Don't know about 13R, but should probably be the same.
I have a 13R coming because I really want a flat screen but as far as capabilities..I agree with you. In my location, One Plus is keeping the OP12 price high with little or no discounts so I think One Plus realizes people would buy the OP12 if priced to close to 13R. The OP 12 is the better phone IMO. I am still looking forward to my 13R...always fun to get a new phone.
Don't be fooled, unless the OnePlus 13r is $150-$200 cheaper than the OnePlus 12 in your market, buy the OnePlus 12 without thinking. The iQoo 12 is also a very good alternative. 🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️ 🚶🏽♂️
@goldvideo god you guys are so ignorant and rude. Dont know who hurt you 2. But why would it only be government people who are interested in that? A phone with 8000 mah battery instead of cameras would be insane and more people than you think would like that. Not everyone uses their cameras. Maybe just keep a selfie camera and 1 back camera for video calls and such. I wouldnt even need that lmao
no charger in the box for anyone in Europe :( and no basic clear phone case either... It is due to new EU regs, but still OnePlus could at least give the option. It's a real shame given the superior charging capacity is a selling point for OnePlus so it sucks to have to shell out again to be able to enjoy the phone to the max

1:14 camera don't let me down😂😂😂
IMO, just go for the oneplus 12, prolly better looking and more premium feature than 13R
So the placement of the finger sensor fingerprint sensor is a deal-breaker
Don't be fooled, unless the OnePlus 13r is $150-$200 cheaper than the OnePlus 12 in your market, buy the OnePlus 12 without thinking.
The iQoo 12 is also a very good alternative.

Oneplus 13R has watch 2R as a pre-order bonus, which is big for me.
@TheDado512 That's what I said, the only reason to choose the 13r over the 12 is in case you save $150-$200
@@rolins3279 With the watches i will save 350€.
@@rolins327913R has the flat display.
Did you ever tried to play Pokemon Go for 1 Day with the battery? I think it will die very soon 😬! OP13 (maybe pro?) will be my next phone! Thanks
You forgot the wireless charging that the 13R doesn't have. That's a bummer.
I'll be upgrading from the OnePlus 7T Pro to 13 before the first quarter ends. The 13 reminds me of the Sony Z series, fun times.
The price difference is around 400 bucks. Like why do you guys compare 2 phones with a different price tag?
I need a phone with no cameras and max battery. I dont know why no companies have done at least 1 model of this yet
They did! It's called a landline 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Um, maybe because there's little interest in a cameraless phone unless you're working in super sensitive government stuff?
@goldvideo god you guys are so ignorant and rude. Dont know who hurt you 2. But why would it only be government people who are interested in that? A phone with 8000 mah battery instead of cameras would be insane and more people than you think would like that. Not everyone uses their cameras. Maybe just keep a selfie camera and 1 back camera for video calls and such. I wouldnt even need that lmao
@danytalksmusic yes because a landline is a smartphone 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 holy braindead
the position of the fingerprint reader make a difference +1 for 13
no charger in the box for anyone in Europe :(
and no basic clear phone case either...
It is due to new EU regs, but still OnePlus could at least give the option. It's a real shame given the superior charging capacity is a selling point for OnePlus so it sucks to have to shell out again to be able to enjoy the phone to the max
one reviewer put the 13 in his dishwasher and it still worked fine lol xD
