I own towing company in DFW TX and I do $7 per click or conversion like $18 per call or less. It’s will rips offs. Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching. So in this video, I didn't go over a call-only campaign. I've never been able to get them to perform as well as RSAs (responsive search ads) which is the type of ads I created in this video. I'm confident my strategy will work for any service-based business. Your copy and keywords would obviously be different but the configuration should be pretty much the same.

    Thanks for the video! Great content! You mentioned you spend $200/day? How many calls a day do you usually get?

    • @cashtows
      @cashtows  Год назад +4

      At $200 a day, I can't keep up by myself. I end up asking the wife to dispatch for me, haha. I'm not sure how many calls exactly as it will vary. I will say that my ad costs are probably high, less than 20% of total for the day but I'm at the top of Google well over 90% of the time. Also, the daily budget you set is a 30 day trailing average. Some days I might spend $100 and then during a snow storm where volume picks up, I might spend $300. I set mine to $200/day to prevent my ads from turning off, especially if I have competitors clicking on my ads. It's to the point now that I don't worry about competitors clicking on my ads as I have most of their IP addresses blocked. Thanks for watching the video, I appreciate it.

    • @cashtows
      @cashtows  Год назад

      You're welcome! You will not be able to set up any Google Ads campaign properly via mobile. You MUST use desktop. With that being said, I have a special manager account where I can manage multiple accounts from one master account which is why it may look a bit different than what you see on your desktop screen. It should be very close to the same in appearance but mobile will be completely different. The only time I use mobile is if I'm on the road and need to adjust bids, strategies, or need to emergency pause a campaign for some reason which rarely happens. Hope this helps!

    on the cash tows ppc there are more ad words then you have on the explanation video. Should all of them be included or just section A?

    • @cashtows
      @cashtows  5 месяцев назад

      Hey, thanks for watching. I apologize for the confusion. I've updated the PPC Cheat Sheet since this video was made.
      I intended for each heading in the blue row to be thought of as an ad group. Then the keywords below should be added to its ad group, I set match types for you already. I use keyword match type tools to set match types quickly. You can google it. There's a list of free ones.
      You can break your ad groups down even more granularly than this. I'm finding that the amount of keywords you use per ad group depends on the area you serve. It seems to me that the smaller the area, the less you have to worry about how many keywords you have per group.
      Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

    Would you recommend starting out on maximize clicks? Or maximize conversions? If it’s clicks, do you eventually switch over to conversions?
    Been trying to learn google ads lately and that’s a question I can’t answer

    • @cashtows
      @cashtows  5 месяцев назад

      Ah yes, the bid strategy. This can be somewhat difficult to decide because of a few different things. Also, Google changes things all the time, feels like weekly sometimes, so some of the info in this video might be a bit outdated. I am working on a Google Ads course for towing and roadside and things will be updated in that video.
      First, to answer your question, I always start out with Max Clicks and run it for a MINIMUM of 30 days if I decide to switch to Max Conv. This is a bit controversial. Some say switch once you get about 15 conversions, some say 30 days. This will depend on your volume.
      With a new campaign, especially a new account, you don't have any data so Google doesn't know what you consider a conversion. Is it a page view, button click, form submission, or a phone call? If you run Max Conversions right away, you're most likely going to burn through a lot more money or not see very many impressions at all initially compared to Max Clicks, at least that's from my experience.
      The decision to switch to Max Conversions, IMO, is based on a few different variables. Volume, budget, and click fraud. If you're getting poor results and have a budget that allows a lot of volume, you might want to try Max Conversions and test it out. If you're seeing a lot of click fraud, Max Conversions could possibly help.
      The thing with Google Ads is there's no hard line, no exact rules that one must follow in order to see the best results. There are so many variables that will determine the performance of your campaigns that it's impossible to know if you're going to be successful or not. Location, ad schedule, ad/landing page copy, budget, bids, negative keywords, and the list goes on. There is a lot of testing involved. With that being said, the way I run my ads might not be the same as the next guy.
      But, the difference between me and the other guy is that I'm actually behind the wheel of the tow truck. I'm the one answering the phones. I've experienced most of the pain points my clients are having. I've been there, done that, got the T-shirt. What I teach is not only from what I've been taught but also from what I've experienced over the last nearly 10 years doing this. I hope this helps and if you need more, lmk and I'll do my best to.

    Why don't you run call only campaigns?

    • @cashtows
      @cashtows  Год назад

      Short Answer: They’re a waste of money
      Long answer: I’ve been running Google ads specifically for towing for the better part of a decade now and I have developed a belief that most people don’t read the ads.
      This is proven every time someone calls me looking for an impounded car or one of my competitors. I know firsthand that none of my copy implies in the slightest that I impound vehicles, and especially don’t advertise my competitors name.
      With that being said, when you throw up a call only ad, everyone’s first reaction is to click the ad (costs you money). Sometimes they follow through and make the call or they click cancel and it ends up still costing you money.
      I don’t stop anyone from testing it out in their area but I would be cautious when applying any type of budget.
      Plus call only ads cost more than RSA ads in my experience.

    • @reman3217
      @reman3217 Год назад +1
