₹1,50,000(booking charge)+ ₹15,000(annual maintenance charge) = ₹1,65,000 for 1 month for 5 years
So for 12 months(5years),
₹1,65,000 x 12 = ₹19,80,000
After 5 years,
resale value of all 12 cars you’ll get ₹7,20,000 (assuming ₹60,000 each)
Why would a person who has 20 lakhs want to ride a 12 different used cars
Like this amount won't get 12 luxury cars they'll be entry level cars and the other 11 owners will abuse the vehicles
Instead they can buy a new car for 20 lakhs in sole ownership and maintain it well

for me i think this is a good business idea and owning a whole car with a burdern of loan is hectic for me this is affordable and financially feasible also as per i understand the business .
This service is very good for people who travel between 2/multiple cities frequently (that too on flights).
This is also for those who want multiple cars. Because in price of a car it will give them option to select from 8/12 cars in which they have partial ownership. And those cars can be of different price segment.
Imagine having acess to 6-7 luxary cars at cost of just rs 3LPA.
It's surely going to become next big thing.😮
Damn, I am really impressed by the attention to detail this guy has put to create this business. Amazing business idea but not for our country as people of our country lack civic sense and do not follow a proper time table for anything.

Anupam is playing damn tricky in this season, firstly uplifting the founder's expectations and then suddenly he sees a small pit, and suddenly he's OUT ! damn well played
That 7 seater use case is very practical. They do service n insurance, pick up. The founder is solid. Even for NRI's who come to India for a month or 2, this is useful. To avoid misuse, the vehicle should be inspected and a report should be generated before the vehicle is transferred to the next owner. Accordingly, penalties n bonuses should be added, which can be redeemed while selling the vehicle. I don't like my vehicle being misused.
Its a great business , although we can afford car, but we had not buyed any because maintance and all , main bohot time jata h , so we always rent whenever required.
This is a great idea, capacity and status use cases are so genuine! It is not a solution to be considered for primary car for sure. Talking about planning, for Indians it is more essential than any other countrymen sheerly because of demand-supply mismatch, so usage of this platform is well in tandem with Indian consumer mindset. I wish Amit Jain was also there for this one!
I am definitely going to buy a car in this way!! Luxury car ownership is itself a great thing in any way!!

Market for this is limited to those people who 1. Aspire to own a luxury vehicle, 2. Are willing to pay anywhere between Rs 1.5-10 lakhs (assuming Rs 1.2 cr car value on the upper end for simplicity sake) for roughly 150 days of usage (across 5 years), 3. Don't already own the luxury car (I mean you can't expect tbe ultra rich to go for this, they could just buy the car outright).
I'm not any expert on this but it seems like the target market for this is so so miniscule. Everybody aspires to buy a luxury car koi nai bolega ki zindahi bhar alto chalana h but when it comes to make a buying decision, there will be very few people willing to shell out that kind of money that too for part ownership. Also this business model seems a lot like that Mahindra timeshare hotel thing where whenever you actually need to book a room, it won't be available. Take for example last week of December, literally everyone would want to use their car during the holiday season and so will I. Won't I be disappointed if the car is booked by someone else for the whole of December last week? So on and so forth for every holiday season. I'm literally competing with 11 other people for ownership. I don't think it is practical.

Someone ask Namita to Try and book Konkan Railway Ticket for peak season. A Fucking 01 sec delay while booking 3-4 months before can cost you your journey.
We plan it 4 months ahead and wake up exactly at 7.30 am to book tickets at 8.00.01 am.
Moral of the story: We plan. We do plan 2-3-4 months ahead. This guy's idea is brilliant.

To Namratha : In India independent house volumes are more than appartments. With independent house come renting and parking problems. This use case of parking is solved by this and lot of IT folkes will be part of this . Which covers majority of form 16 or tax fillers. Hence this model will work in a lenient fashion but will definitely work as IT WorKERS WORK AND PLAN A LOT
