Last night she performed a song she wrote when she was 13 which ended up on the Hannah Montana soundtrack. She’s 34 now, so it’s a 21 year old song. she said “you get bonus points if you know this next one because it’s really, really old” the crowd went wild, people cried, and they sang their hearts out to a 20 year old song that isn’t on any of her albums. She was so thrilled they knew the words. She had never performed it live before. She’s still surprising even her oldest fans!
She is selling out all her shows around the world. . 60,000 to 90,000 a night. Not counting the 10,000+ that show up and gather outside the stadiums. It's amazing to see.
She’s performing at Wembley Stadium in London for 8 sold out shows. Her fans travel from the US to Europe to see her because of the new album version that has already been incorporated into her concert. While she was “not working” in April and May, they were changing costumes, choreography, adding the new concert, new overhead graphics and lighting and a music video release. She does not stop working. She’s at the top because she deserves to be there. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
And every single night she broke the record for most people at the friends arena in Stockholm !! (And I think she broken the record for the Edinburgh stadium for like n1 or n2?)
@@sosueme.13 Murrayfield she broke it on N1 & N2, N3 she broke it on tickets sold, not on the gate total, that was around 70,000 as there was allegedly around 3,000 tickets still for sale on resale sites. Someone I saw got in for like £20 when she got into the stadium, there was 13 seconds on the screen.
Her following happened because she is open, vulnerable, kind, a master artist. If you don’t already know, her lyrics are studied in University literature courses: Harvard, Berkeley and at least 7 others I can’t remember right now. She is hailed as one of the best poets of her generation. She doesn’t advertise it but in every city she performs in she donates to homeless programs often in the multiple 100s of thousands. For the US tour of Eras, she gave bonuses to everybody in her employ that was responsible for making the tour happen. 368 people. The total amount she spent on bonuses just for that leg of the tour was $55M. Life changing amounts of money- she acknowledged all the months on tour where they left their families at home. For the truckers - 80 of them i think - each received a minimum bonus of $100,000 and some received $200,000 with hand written notes for her. Tour folks have said bonuses typically paid by artists might range from 2k to 5k Hope that peaks your interest in learning more about this remarkable woman.
Not all Swifties/fans are fanatical. I am 65, I only buy the main CD, I have just recently joined a Senior Swifties group which is up to 9K people, I had no idea there were that many older people who have fallen in love with Taylor Swift. Taylor's folklore and evermore albums during COVID brought in an older generation and men of all ages. We are protective of her, given that she has received so much hate and media lies. I have been a fan since day one, every new album is something different, she has done several genres of music, each new era she has a different look, most can just by looking at a picture and say, that is her Reputation era, or her Red era. Taylor has been good to her fans, I won't go into it, but she does more than the average star.
Taylor’s financial donations are kept as quiet as possible, however, I’ve seen reports that she contributes more than any other known celebrity (Jeff Bezos ex-wife, Mackenzie, is now making huge donation, too) The stories from people who have received tips from her, the huge bonuses she gave to the tour truck drivers, and all the behind the scenes workers at Christmas add to her awesomeness and why, even 72 yo like me, are joyfully fanatical. Watch Taylor’s Reputation Tour movie.
Could you tell me which Senior Swifties group you are referring to? 52 year old here who discovered Taylor during Folklore/ Evermore and is a huge admirer…. Thank you!🤍
Heya! 55 here and only discovered her because NFL fans kept saying they didn't like her music so I naively thought they actually tried to listed to her albums (nope!). I dove in and still am amazed by her talent, writing, singing, and production. Her shows looks spectacular but I think I'm past standing for a 3.5 hour show :)
So, Dads. She looks nervous not because she's having trouble with the guitar or can't remember her own lyrics; it's because she's on the news of her local tv station and she's going to have to go in to school and get bullied by the "cool" kids. She's 16 in this clip. She's been through that before, in Pennsylvania middle school. She had a modeling/ ad contract at 13 for "emerging artists" with Ambercrombie & Fitch (through child manager, Dan Dimtrow) and an "artist in development contract with Sony/RCA at 14 in Nashville. A year _before_ this clip she walked out on RCA because they wanted her to wait until she was 18 to release a record. . . . . . so she jumped ship and signed with Scott Borchetta and the new label, Big Machine Records. And released her debut a couple months before she was 17.
One of the best comments I have read about Taylor Swift said, “We picked the perfect person to be the world’s superstar” and that person was correct I think. Those Swiftie’s rule the world if you didn’t know. 😂😂
Another reason for her loyal fans. She has shown up to weddings, wedding showers and bridal showers. Sometimes to perform a surprise song or just to be a regular guest she has shown up at fans homes with gifts for them and their kids. She invites to each of her homes, a huge group of fans to have a secret listening party to an album that isn’t released yet. Red & 1989 secret sessions. She stalks her followers for months on social media before choosing who to invite. She does a thing called “swiftmas” where she pics out personalized gifts for fans and wraps them herself before having them delivered. She has shown up and performed for one of her oldest fans, a Vietnam veteran. She is extremely generous with her staff and her staff have medical insurance. That is why she has had the same musicians throughout her career. This is very unusual as most musicians are treated like sub contractors. It’s easy to like her as a person even if her music is not ur cup of tea. You can catch these videos made by fans on RUclips.
That doesn’t say she has been through any challenges though, when she was 23 she was groped and the guy who did it sued her for millions of dollars (so she counter sued for 1) they finally believed her in court when she was 27. She also spoke out about her eating disorder she had when she was 19-25 years old. (She doesn’t have a problem with it now anymore) She’s a person who really focuses on what and who she loves. She’s worked hella hard to get where she is now and she deserves it!
The thing people always misunderstood about Taylor is that her fanbase is not only bigger than they think (its massive)but its actually way wider than they can fathom spanning from people of all ages and walks of life. Take for instance the common misconceptions that she is mostly for 8 year old/young/ middle aged white women when her biggest fanbase is in Asia... And looking at 1989, Rep and this last tour I dare say Oceania... people always largely underestimate the foothold she has among POC/the older generation. Hence why they are always surprised that her demand be it vinyls/on streaming platforms/ticket sales always line up...and how she dominates global charts... Equally people don't understand how much time she has taken to cultivate said "loyal" following. One of the things shes done that some of these other artists haven't managed to understand is to make her fanbase feel like heard, understood or like they are a part of her process...look at the way she marketed her rereleased albums especially 1989 TV... Midnights and even TTPD... Her inclusion of easter eggs in her MVs ... Equally take notice of how much time and what different ways she tries to market her craft and how she time and effort she spends on album rollouts and how her fanbase has picked up a mantle of being her marketing team... promoting her work and going an extra mile hosting fan hangouts... listening parties...podcasts on educating swifties and non Swifties alike on Swiftielore...creating "Swiftie communities" within their local communities By the way Ghanaian Swifties... on that last part😂🤷🏾♀️
I wish I could like this comment 100 times. The way she has meticulously crafted her career and her fan base is a masterclass in “celebrity”. Make no mistake, she is just as much a business woman as she is a songwriter/performer. Almost every song connects to another which makes being a casual fan practically impossible. The lore is what makes her special and she is hyper aware of that. “No one wanted to play with me as a little kid so I’ve been scheming like a criminal ever since to make them love me and make it seem effortless this is the first time I’ve felt the need to confess And I swear, I’m only cryptic & Machiavellian cause I care.” 👌🏼

I'm a 66yo guy and, prior to Taylor, my fave was Metallica. About a year ago I became a swiftie. I've subscribed and I would love to see you do a few more videos about TSwift. I know you guys are not a standard music-reaction/review channel, but here are a few ideas to consider: Have you heard all of her albums since Reputation? If so, I’d like to hear your thoughts about each one. If not, you should listen to them and do some reviews. I’m assuming you’ve seen all of her movies. What are your reactions to those? If you have not seen them, then I’d suggest watching them and doing reviews. (Miss Americana, The Long Pond Sessions, and The Eras Tour). A review of her newest album would be especially interesting. After about 3 listens, I felt like I could reasonably say that TTPD is not just my fave TS album, but my fave album of all time. (But it’s ok if you don’t like it much. I’d still like to hear your reactions.) I’m also assuming that you are generally familiar with the vast ocean of videos related to TS - interviews, behind-the-scenes videos, the “Errors Tour” videos, etc., but, if not, you might enjoy discovering those. @@TheChasingMountainsPodcast Seriously, I'm a 57yo man and just started listening to her last year! I've never seen an artist so meant to be a superstar. It's the level of performance, the epicness of the production...but then she turns around with just a guitar or piano and I fall in love again with singer-songwriter that she is.
You guys should react to some Taylor songs! She has 11 albums, and she writes her own songs. Also she directs, produces her own music videos! I’ve been listening to Taylor since her Debut album came out and I didn’t think I would be listening to her 20 years later as well! Taylor Swifts lyrics are literally poems, and they are so relatable. She wears her heart on her sleeve for the world to see.
Very true about everything said here! Especially the subscriber base. I probably subscribe to almost every person or persons that react to TS. Just to watch them become fans. It’s amazing! ❤️😘

People may hate her but there's no denying her talent, her crafting catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, her skill as a musician AND a business-woman.....history will decide .... PRESENT-DAY HAS DECIDED.
By 14 y/o she was hired by a label to be a songwriter for them. She wrote songs for many famous people to sing, and the other writers said she always pulled her weight. Then she was signed by a label called Big Machine
Making fun of swifties, eh? lol You guys have to listen to her music. The reason TS has such loyalty is, as banal as it may sound , because she brings goodness and light into the world. She sings about mental health, addiction, death but she does it in a way that heals. TS is also loyal to her fans, like few artists have ever been. She will fight for them as much as they do for her. Anyway, she has become greater than the Beatles and nothing the haters (not you) can do about that.
You should have let the trailer run all they way to the end and you would have seen a few seconds of her singing Maroon at the piano in the acoustic set.
With her music in the background and with sparkly outfits. We go big. But in all seriousness many of us have grown up with her. We’ve experience a lot of the same traumas that she has ( SA, eating disorders, crappy partners etc) and she’s incredibly honest with us- literally giving us diary pages. That creates a bond that most artists will never happen with their fan base. And her she’s are practically broadway productions they are so beautiful. No one does it better than Taylor. I’m a few years older than Taylor and feel a huge amount of pride in her that she has punched through those glass ceilings and limitations that society and the business world tries to put on women.
Stumbled upon this podcast while looking for T. Swift reaction videos. Enjoyed it (could have been longer but that's neither here nor there.) Subscribed! Keep up the good work, Men!
She single handedly boosted the economy throughout the country and donated to food banks in every city she played a show. 🫡 Even Bill Bill Belichick called her tough, for her work ethic, after one of her shows at Gillette Stadium where it was POURING raining the whole show. [She was an absolute beast 💪 about it, as per usual.] "That was pretty impressive, she's tough, man. She stood out there and played right through." 😂
If you want to see a polished "young" Taylor, check out Long LIve, live performance during the Speak Now tour. Explains a lot ! She wrote this song for the fans and captured their hearts.
What Swifties are going to do after Trawis breaks her heart, and we know she loves him. We will stop suscribe to his podcast, not watch his fb games or any shows with him in it, trash him on every social media and so on. OMG, Travis you better not mess this up

Not trying to sound like anything, especially condescending and arrogant - just reacting. I'd like to think we have a fairly informed opinion, though. We're both musicians and producers, and Jacob has charted in the top 5 of the Billboard Top 100. Jacob's sister (Dave's wife) has been recognized by Billboard for her music, and has shared the stage with a long list of well-known artists - we've directly supported her musical career for years. We've filmed and produced music videos for artists at Sony, Warner Music, Big Machine and more. Yes we both have daughters, and they're deeply loved, extremely confident, and very well-mannered.
These two losers are just so envious. Top 5 in Billboard means nothing at all in this century. People always remember no.1 . Who give a f about no.2-100😊

The Metallica to Taylor Swift transition is a big one! 🤣 Although I get it - both are larger than life. Will check out these links and may need to do some more reaction videos - thanks!
@@TheChasingMountainsPodcast Believe it or not, it is not that big of a transition if you watch her reputation tour movie
These are such excellent recommendations 👏 👏 👏
You guys should react to some Taylor songs! She has 11 albums, and she writes her own songs. Also she directs, produces her own music videos! I’ve been listening to Taylor since her Debut album came out and I didn’t think I would be listening to her 20 years later as well! Taylor Swifts lyrics are literally poems, and they are so relatable. She wears her heart on her sleeve for the world to see.
She’s extremely talented!
@@TheChasingMountainsPodcast if you want more subscribers, Taylor is the way to go and you might end up being a fan as well
Very true about everything said here! Especially the subscriber base. I probably subscribe to almost every person or persons that react to TS. Just to watch them become fans. It’s amazing! ❤️😘
@@kristauren8226 Hope you subscribed to GOT Games, loved his introduction where he said he is sorry if he is gonna make the swifties mad but it is gonna be his genuine reaction, then he started crying from how good the clip was
Taylor’s music, her concerts are a safe space for women. I wish I felt as safe and seen in the world as I do at the Eras tour.
. Some men get it
People may hate her but there's no denying her talent, her crafting catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, her skill as a musician AND a business-woman.....history will decide .... PRESENT-DAY HAS DECIDED.
I love Swifties! That's loyalty!
Facts she's one of the few artists that geniunely cares about her fans and realizes that without her fans she wouldn't be where she is rn
2:38 Yeah, she does overtake cities lol When she came to Brazil last year it was chaos.
1:26 she have 70k to 100k at every stadium which is insane 😭
I'm sorry but Taylor Swift knew exactly what she wanted in her life and she got it.
She overtakes cities. See what is happening in edinburgh this weekend or what happened in Australia in Feb
She played in two cities in France and generated €650 million for the French economy. It's mind-blowing.
You should have let the trailer run all they way to the end and you would have seen a few seconds of her singing Maroon at the piano in the acoustic set.
The thing about Taylor is that she is still that same singer/songwriter at her core.
if you read the 48 Laws of Power, Taylor Swift checks ALL those strategies
50,000? Try 90,000 each night for 2-3 days 😅
Whew!! 😮
And outside of the stadium 20k
Im a 43 year retired marine male and Im a huge Swiftie. IF she wanted a country and had a call to arms, Im there
I appreciate the thoughtful commentary. Would watch more. ❤
she's actually got 20 yrs of music!!!
I got Taylor’s back forever, and she has a heart of gold, so I’ll never doubt her.
Stumbled upon this podcast while looking for T. Swift reaction videos. Enjoyed it (could have been longer but that's neither here nor there.) Subscribed! Keep up the good work, Men!
"She can't write" "she can't sing" "Can't dance" . This friends, is what the art of "Becoming" looks like.
She single handedly boosted the economy throughout the country and donated to food banks in every city she played a show. 🫡
Even Bill Bill Belichick called her tough, for her work ethic, after one of her shows at Gillette Stadium where it was POURING raining the whole show. [She was an absolute beast 💪 about it, as per usual.]
"That was pretty impressive, she's tough, man. She stood out there and played right through." 😂
Being a Ghanaian living in the USA and a hardcore Swiftie since 2010, I approve this message 😍😍😂😂
Two real gentlemen sharing their thoughts on her professional growth ❤! Thanks 🙏🏻
If you want to see a polished "young" Taylor, check out Long LIve, live performance during the Speak Now tour. Explains a lot !
She wrote this song for the fans and captured their hearts.
You should see Scotland right now lol
I'm 49. I'm a Swiftie. If Taylor said we would overtake a country, I'd be there. lol It's her kindness and heart though that has her fans so enamored.
What Swifties are going to do after Trawis breaks her heart, and we know she loves him. We will stop suscribe to his podcast, not watch his fb games or any shows with him in it, trash him on every social media and so on. OMG, Travis you better not mess this up
Oh wow that's toxic shit!! I'm a Swiftie, and I know that like me, there are many more who don't treat an ex like trash just because he's an ex. 🤷🏻♀️
@@lauraventura1989 If he just useed her and pull away I would have no problem. Hope they are good and happy.
Grow up
I see her this friday (June 21st) in a stadium that hold 90k people… she has sold it out 8 times.
Unreal.
Hold on, 8 times for the Eras Tour alone..?? Or are you saying lifetime? Either is crazy, but one tour is wild…
@@TheChasingMountainsPodcast Eight sold out dates for the 2024 Eras Tour : June 21-23 and August 15-20. Wembley holds 90,000 people. Times eight is almost three-quarters of a million tickets sold in one city.
I read somewhere that she was 1% of the US music market in 2023. With anyone else I'd be pressing x for doubt, but with Taylor it was kind of okay that tracks.
50,000 lol more like 85,000 to 97,000 fans at a concert.
Really?! thats cool!
This was everything I wanted
For a moment I was like "is that Adam Baldwin?" 😂
🤣🤣 What?? Which one of us…?
@@TheChasingMountainsPodcast Well, guess! 😆 To me at least it is obvious. 😂
Their is a photo of her ona tiny stagemwkth her name on a banner and about 20 people audicence, i leave seeing that and a photo from the eras tour side by side!
if Taylor wants a coup and will be the new president, then sign me up for the revolution!! Cue Swifties singing Change!
I'm subscribing. Hope to have more Taylor videos :)
Love this
I’d subscribe to a Patreon to watch you react to the full tour movie on Disney+ 👀
Me too!
I’m still laughing, loved the video😂
1:20 Way more.
Overtaking Ghana would be too easy for us swifties give us a challenge like oh I don't know... making Taylor president of the United States.... wait that would be even easier!!❤❤❤❤ you know she would win if she ran right??!! There is not one space in this planet where you could fit all the swifties from all over the world we would need our own planet❤❤❤❤❤
I think you give us swifties a bit too much credit lol. We do love our blondie though 🫶🏼❤️🫶🏼
you need to watch the Movie to know what the actual production value is
Nice video.
50,000 people…. Haha, that’s cute
I know you guys are trying to sound like you respect her, but you two guys that I've never heard of come across as very condescending and arrogant - I hope you don't have daughters because they'll pick up on you not so subtle disrespect.
Who give a f about no.2-100😊
Well she's about to start a regional war in Southeast Asia when Singapore monopolize her concert haha countries were shading each other
Swifties have been on top of the world for years 🫶💙🫶💙🫶💙🫶💙🫶
