Here is my encounter with “Herobrine”
I was playing with my sisters and even weirder is that
I was in creative we heard a lot of lightning strikes but weather cycle was off
We were building a house at the time and a fire started that none of us started
The world crashed, this was my sister’s world, and I asked her to delete it and she did.
I am still scared to this day and this was last year..

right after I almost finished my wooden house, I didn't have enough materials, and my wooden house is also really big, there was no trees around me because I used most of them for my house so I really need to travel far, so I typed in the coordinates in the chat and put some trail of torch so I can remember the path. after I found some trees, I destroyed them to get some wood, I need to destroy 6 of trees for my house. after I destroyed them I went back, and what did i see? my house was burning. I also saw giant footsteps. I followed the footsteps but i completely saw nothing! i left my world and delete it, It still remains a mystery.

I had the creepiest Herobrine sighting ever. I was just minding my own business and then out of no where, I saw a redstone torch next to me. Someone or Something was placing a trail of redstone torches. I decided to follow it and what happens? Wallop. I see the back of a Steve skin. Before I could see the eyes, I was knocked into the void. As I turned around though I saw to white eyes. When I thought that was it, I saw it. Just mining for diamonds I found an 8 vein, whilst I was walking down the mine, someone or something placed obsidian blocking my path. Then luckily I had a diamond pick with efficiency 5, I saw Herobrine standing there staring at me. Then I tried to run back but when I turned around, I saw Null one side of me and Herobrine the other side of me. But then, my game instantly crashed. When I logged back in I saw 2 signs both in the spots of where they were. The signs spelt one word…
Hajlp which is Swedish for help. One the other sign it said: He is coming I was scared to death I didn’t go to sleep for a whole week. And at school I tried not to talk to anyone. I never saw Herobrine or Null after that. However, when I started a brand new survival world, that’s when it all changed. The signs hajlp and He is coming, Was talking about Entity303. I loaded in survived the first 3 days, then it happened. Entity303 was seen on top of a mountain with a diamond sword in his hand. Then my game crashed again. I told my dad and he thought it was just a loading error. But it was way worse

Maybe 3-4 years ago, I was playing MineCraft with my friend. We were on offline and creative mode. But when we were flying, i saw a running guy in the forest, who had Steve's skin. next day when we played, i had created a underwater house. Next day we played, my house was destroyed. All my wolfs, chickens, cats and pandas were drowned. My friend couldn't do this, cuz he was sleeping. Also, most of the trees in the forest were burned. These times, i didn't know about Herobrine until now. I believe, i have seen him.
ive seen herobrine once. its very blank in my head though cus it was about 7 months ago, it all happened when i was building my base underground. herobrine then popped out of nowhere and spawn lava underneath me just before disappearing out of thin air

The were for me will actually 25 to 60% real if you got to be not scary.

Also it creeps me out And Always make me suddenly go back into normal plain biomes.

Asking 100 Minecraft veterans if herobrine is real is the same as asking 100 astronomers if aliens are real. They are both lores some people believe in, some dont. The main similaritie is that no one knows the truth, although both lores have some sort of evidence to back them up.
I've seen Herobrine on one of my worlds before. I was in a village stealing bits of houses for my own house(because that's how I do Minecraft)and then I heard thunder outside my mine. I looked out side and a mountain that was complete had a giant hole in the center in which I didn't think anything of at that time. I wondered around and found crosses everywhere in mountains, the sand, and even one that was in a mountain made entirely out of mossy cobblestone. Then randomly while I was underground I heard a explosion near my house, of course I went to investigate, and then I looked up and right before I ended up blowing up I saw a glimpse of what looked like the back of Steve. I know it wasn't my brother or a friend because it was a single player world! Of course I deleted that world not wanting to have another encounter and haven't seen any sightings of him since then.

I was playing by myself and was spawned exactly right next to a village. I started looting the village and heard a cave noise. WHEN THERE WAS NOT A CAVE NEAR ME AT ALL.... then I went to look for a cave and finally found one. I went down into the cave and found 2 ways both leading down. So I chose the left path, and little did I know that was the worst path I could've chose. I reached the end of the left path and turned round to go back up it. But as soon as I turned round I saw a shadow running up the left path. So I started to follow it. I reached the entrance of the 2 paths and found nothing. But when I looked up the entrance of the cave. I saw herobrine. And immediately I left the game in fear. And today I still don't want to play Minecraft..

I once was in a flat creative world and I was in my wooden house. I had the weather cycle turned off so it couldn’t rain or thunderstorm. After a bit I heard the sound of fire, I checked my furnace but it wasn’t on. Then I went outside and saw my house was on fire. Idk what happened. I will never forget that. The only thing that makes me laugh about that is that because I was little back then I didn’t know what to do and filled the house with water.

Me and my friends were once hunting herobrine, everything was normal until we came across a village but it was a old style. Then my friend saw something standing on a tree it disappeared and my friend died, I then deleted the world. And never tried hunting herobrine again. ( i did not see the figure on the tree, so it could just be my friend messing with me. But the village still had the old style so I think he’s real).

My experience was very well…interesting so one day I was just minding my own business mining diamonds and the when I went up to my house from the cave I saw a message that said say good bye so I freaked and for some reason I went inside my house and put my diamonds away and then I went back in the cave and while I was mining more diamonds I heard a sound that seemed like it came from right behind me so I turned around to see a Steve looking figure with white eyes and just out of nowhere 3 seconds after I turned I just died but I was full health and the Steve looking figure didn’t do anything so before I died I took a screenshot of the character who now I know his name is Herobrine and sent it to my friend who and asked who is this Steve looking character he started freaking out and told he was Herobrine and I was like who’s Herobrine he said the danger of Minecraft so when I got home I deleted the world and I only saw him 3 other times in my life
Once, when i was five, i was playing minecraft with my bro. suddenly, he started to build a bunker out of bedrock, saying that a player named herobrine had hacked our world. i left as i was scared and that night i had a series of nightmares involving herobrine. Now, i am 10 and my mean brother told me that it wasnt real and he justwanted to scare me. I swear to god, i WILL get him back

i've seen him once, on a different world with a friend we found redstone torches too. signs of him include: glowstone towers i think, crosses, trees with no leaves, random lightning with no thunderstorm, redstone torches, and maybe even blocks dissaprearing (to be exact sweet berries you planted that are fully grown) bc it happend to me.

My experience was.. quite weird. When I created my first world I was exploring an found a shack on a mountain. I thought it was regular at the time but now that I know about Herobrine I know it was him. And if it wasn't it was probably something more sinister. I continued playing and rebuild the shack and then created a new world. In this new world I saw lightening strike when there was no rain. Then I stumbled upon an abandoned village with redstone torches everywhere to pick up. I continued playing the game and saw him, Herobrine. At the time, I didn't know much about Minecraft or Herobrine. I continued playing thinking he was a regular player, then I realized I was on single player. I thought it was a zombie, but then it disappeared. The chunk he was in also disappeared too. After this I searched up Minecraft Mobs with white eyes. No results besides Herobrine appeared. I thought my worlds were cursed so I deleted them. Soon a couple weeks later, I started playing again, this time on PC. I was still a Steve skin at the time so I think Herobrine thought I was an easy target and knew nothing about him. I thought he would haunt me too, when I was inside dark oak forest and saw a zombie, the same skin color but with white eyes. I tried summoning Herobrine because I thought summoning him would reward me with things other than him. After this I didnt really play until 2 months later.

I had another Herobrine experience some months ago. I've started a new world, just to play some survival. Please note that the world was single player and I was the only one in there. At least I thought....At first I heard cave sounds on the surface as I spawned. After some time walking I saw a Herobrine tunnel ( 2×2 tunnel) and wanted to write it down. But as I opened my book to write, I took damage from nowhere!!!! I fell in a cave and died. It was daytime and NOTHING was around!!
Hey Shark! Here’s some tip of finding herobrine
1. If you see a cow or sheep with white eyes, then it’s herobrine
2. If you a chicken spawning in a unreasonable location like a ravine or a cave, it means herobrine is nearby.
3. If there is no glass in your game, herobrine could have done this
I’ve also seen hero brine in a swamp, I was recording a series episode 1 and then I was getting wood crafted it into planks then I closed the crafting table found a entity kind of like herobrine I walked a block back and it disappeared I started running away and off camera I deleted the world (trying to find that footage for me to upload it)

In every update it will say the new stuff in the description, like new ore: coal new animal: cow And if you scroll down to the very bottom it says ‘ herobrine removed’ so herobrine was in the game but he has been removed. I hope that helps

Once I was just playing a normal survival world until all of a sudden I found a forest of birch and oak. But the strange thing was, there were *no* leaves. Then in that forest I stumbled upon a lava pool, so I thought maybe the leaves caught in fire. But I realized the wood would've burned too, not just the leaves. Right next to that lava pool was a cross. When I saw it I started freaking out. A few minutes later I stopped thinking about it and went back to my house. By then it was already night time, so I slept. Like 10 minutes after I woke up in my house, I saw a figure in the distance that looked like the default Steve skin. But then all of a sudden he started running towards me and and I saw his *glowing white eyes..* HE WAS HEROBRINE! I ran back to my house and closed the door and he was gone. I never touched that world since then.

Me and a friend were playing minecraft on our smp earlier today and we decided to go mining. We found ravine after ravine. And there were no mobs anywhere, we are on normal mode so there should have been some. Then my friend went into one cave whilst I went into another and they saw blue on a player. The only other person who can join does have a partially blue skin but they weren't online and had logged off in their base. We decided to stick together as I was getting a little scared and we decided about 15-20 minutes later we would head back after we had explored one final ravine. We had seen out of the corner of the screen the blue player 2 times. They weren't fully blue they just had a blue shirt on. We finaly found other mobs, a skeleton and a creeper. We then built up to get some iron and a creeper appeared out if nowhere next to us and exploded, I had realised what was about to happen and had started to run. I got blasted off the block onto a ledge and survived with half a heart, my friend wasn't as lucky and died. They returned and by the time they returned there was a skeleton, Zombie and spider. They got their stuff back and we left, then they got killed by a zombie. Then again when they got their stuff back we were heading back and stopped for some iron when I saw what looked like a skeleton and I chased it. It sprinted round a corner and dissappeared. Now that I think about it the 'skeleton' looked more like a player and wasn't holding a bow. We returned to our base and I saw the blue player agan, I then went to check for phantoms outside (there were non which is weird as we were in the caves for over 3 days). My friend looked out of the window and also saw this player. We slept and I saw the blue player hiding in the trees and we both hid in a corner of the base and logged off. Since then I have been asking my other friends what they think the blue player and the skeleton could have been and the only answer I could think of is the blue player was herobrine in the dark from a distance. So I have been doing research on him in more recent videos. Does anyone have any idea what it could have been if it was herobrine or not? And does anyone have any idea what the 'skeleton' was?
Edit: I was playing with both my friends this time and me and the friend who wasn't on last time decided to play a trick on my other friend let's call the friend who I was playing the trick on D and the one who was joining in on playing it S. It's also importaint to note that we are playing using the origins mod and a few more that add other origins. I am a fox, S is a phantom and D is an enderman. It is also importaint to note everything was whilst on call, both times unless stared otherwise. The prank was me and S would wear pumpkin heads and act like D was glitching because they couldn't see us. D decided to sleep and I destroyed their bed and place water. There was a rainbow carpet and 3 of the blocks got destroyed, I ran so D wouldn't kill me and then I started getting chased by a player in iron armour with an iron sword. It was raining so D couldn't have been chasing me and S was at his base (a few hundred blocks away). I logged off and soon logged back on and headed back to base. When I got back the whole rainbow carpet was gone. D hadn't destroyed it and the water hadn't, S was still miles away. I had a few blocks I had picked up and I got D to come over and I showed them what I had. I went to our sheep (under the base) to get wool to replace the carpet. The whole carpet was back, except the blocks I had picked up earlier. I got D and fixed the carpet, it was slightly lop sided. I went to get the final piece of carpet and when I came back up the whole thing was fixed D was standing looking in chests and hadnt realised anything had happened . Then I left the house and when I came back D was saying that the carpet was in one of our chests (the bits that had been destroyed and not returned when I tried to fix it). S turned up and we all heard the sound of an anvil. Not one of us had placed one and only S had even owned one, it was at his base. We went back mining and D had to go, we started comming back up the stairs when we started hearing trapdoor sounds. Then we noticed that the stairs were broken. They hadn't been 2 minutes earlier when we went down them. D left and S was also slightly scared. This was the first time I had ever seen S scared. S was standing on the rainbow carpet when an Evocar (idk how to spell it srry) fang hit him. He moved and I was freaked out. I was standing on a bed. S then got hit again and I told him get the h*ll of the carpet. He did. 30 seconds later I got hit by the same thing. I then logged off. He stayed on being much braver than me. He promptly destroyed the carpet. He asked me had anything happened to any of the animals? And went to check. We have 1 sheep of every colour but 2 purple, 6 cows and 1 pig. I told him when he got back the carpet would be back and I was right. When he returned the carpet was back but checkered. The first layer (next to a purple bed was) orange, red, orange
Then red, orange, red then purple, yellow, purple then yellow, purple, yellow then green, blue ,green and finaly blue, green, blue. He checked the tool chest and found no flint and steel with there were 2 earlier. He crafted a flint and steel and burned the carpet. S then sent another picture of the Dirt chest, open. He was not opening it. We swapped to video call and he showed the ores chest and the plants chest were also open. With no player opening them. I had to go and have only been told S left the server. Does anyone know what this could have been? I am terrified and waiting for my friends to call me back.
Edit 2: Me and D went back on and I have these scarecrows I have were fine. 30 seconds later their heads were on the ground infront of them. Also an arrow has appeared in the ground and the sugar cane in chests have been spread out
Edit 3: It's showing as blocks breaking in the subtitles and red carpet appeared inside the base.
Edit 4: D admited to changing the carpet when he was online and breaking the stairs. They told me I was alone whilst they got a new pickaxe but I saw them the whole time... and D saw a white player like entity 303. Everything else that happened was not them.

Once I was playing minecraft and I saw something behind a village house and when I went behind it, the thing was GONE
The last version I saw Herobrine on was 1.16 Pocket Editon and my friend was on Nintendo Switch, but my other friend is still experiencing wierd things, such as constant explosions without TNT in his creative world.

My experience was weird.I was just playing a normal minecraft server and building a very big base and i just took a screenshot after it was done. Later when i was showing it to my friends, one of them asked me if I also added in the person. That was when i looked closer and saw a pair of glowing eyes inside my house. I went back to the server and i saw that only the cobblestone was there.
I thought that it was a normal forest fire but then i saw a sign inside with cursed writing on it. I searchedit up and that was when i realized. It was herobrine. Later when i was mining, i heard a sound, turned around and there he was. Lightning struck me and my game crashed. I have not played minecraft since then.

had recently spawned a new world in single-player Minecraft. Everything was normal at first as I began chopping down trees and crafting a workbench. I noticed something move amongst the dense fog (I have a very slow computer so I have to play with a tiny render distance). I thought it was a cow, so I pursued it, hoping to grab some hides for armor.
It wasn't a cow though. Looking back at me was another character with the default skin, but his eyes were empty. I saw no name pop up, and I double-checked to make sure I wasn't in multiplayer mode. He didn't stay long, he looked at me and quickly ran into the fog. I pursued out of curiousity, but he was gone.
I continued on with the game, not sure what to think. As I expanded to world I saw things that seemed out of place for the random map generator to make; 2x2 tunnels in the rocks, small perfect pyramids made of sand in the ocean, and groves of trees with all their leaves cut off. I would constantly think I saw the other "player" in the deep fog, but I never got a better look at him. I tried increasing my render distance to far whenever I thought I saw him, but to no avail.
I saved the map and went on the forums to see if anyone else had found the pseudo-player. There were none. I created my own topic telling of the man and asking if anyone had a similar experience. The post was deleted within five minutes. I tried again, and the topic was deleted even faster. I received a PM from username 'Herobrine' containing one word: 'Stop.' When I went to look at Herobrine's profile, the page 404'd.
I received an email from another forum user. He claimed the mods can read the forum user messages, so we were safer using email. The emailer claimed that he had seen the mystery player too, and had a small 'directory' of other users who had seen him as well. Their worlds were littered with obviously man-made features as well, and described their mystery player to have no pupils.
About a month passed until I heard from my informant again. Some of the people who had encountered the mystery man had looked into the name Herobrine and found that name to be frequently used by a swedish gamer. After some further information gathering, it was revealed to be the brother of Notch, the game's developer. I personally emailed Notch, and asked him if he had a brother. It took him a while, but he emailed me back a very short message.

Herobrine has powers: lightning, fire, and more. But, we never knew the signs. The signs of Herobrine are trees with no leaves, 2x2 tunnels with red stone torches, 2x2 holes, and *upside down crosses.* I this in my opinion, Herobrine can be found in Java minecraft edition, but it’s my opinion only, not anyone else’s. The youtuber Copeland (after doing research) Might have fakes the Herobrine sighting. You know how? Well, he might’ve used paintings, or blocks retextured as him. The famous sighting of Herobrine was in minecraft java edition [???] and was seen by a mountain in a 2 chunk radius. His skin is a default skin steve, but has no pupils, only white, blank eyes. So, that’s all we know right? Well, this is just, 2% of this rabbit hole, and it goes even further….
My sighting with Herobrine
The first sighting of Herobrine in my computer was 2019 April [???]. I saw him in a 2 - 3 chunk radius. He was in a standing position, with his head turned at my direction, and his body facing another direction. I saw him near a tree, and a pig, and a dirt mound. I left that day, and when I returned to the world, *it wasn’t there…* So, this is now 3% of this rabbit hole…

I've had a strange experience in Minecraft today. Something pushed me down in a ravine of lava where I looked down to. I had Fire resistance luckily and looked up to the place where I stood. There was NOTHING!! no zombie or not even a sign that a creeper exploded or a skeleton shot me.

Hi Shark! I've been watching your videos for a while, almost 5 years. That's a long time! When you started doing the Herobrine search videos I started doing some research of my own and have tried to find this entity myself. I haven't been doing it recently but since I saw this video I thought I might share some things. Try and make to the Nether, I've noticed that's where he tends to pop out a bit more. I had similar experience.So I was in my friends creative world and I was building a roller coaster my friend was there as well then we went to his house he built and found a sign that said hero brine is here then I thought one of our friends were trolling us so then we left the world for an hour we came back to see the same sigh but the writing was cursed we could not read it so we left that world for a bit now but after this I want to go back on it.

My encounter with herobrine is weird. I was playing 1.16 alone because I am too young to make an account. I was swimming and then the water turned into lava and I died. I thought it was a glich. And then a creeper with white eyes appeared i tried to kill it but it was invincible and it said "there is one true king in minecraft and every entity shall seaze every player to join" after that entity 303 distorted alex giant alex and herobrine appeared and then my tablet exploded

I was playing with my friend in my server normally our own survival world... we were just chilling while mining we both were in full diamond when we were crafting the whole chunk in front of us disappeared I got eliminated from the void my friend was able to clutch he found a random cave with redstone torch his game froze and unfroze then when he turned herobrine was standing behind him
I seen herobrine a lot of times the things he did is stock me,killed my pets,and sometimes trap me in places he had did a lot of things to me the crazy part is that’s not the only person that did that to me…

I have never experienced herobrine but one day while I was mining I heard my house blowing up when I came up I saw nothing everything was good but my all cows,pigs and sheeps were killed their meat were dropped ,the next day when I came I saw my all animals back in the fence I just ignored it then I went to nether when I returned I saw my house was on fire I was not able to extinguish the fire I ran away as far as I could and then died because of the creeper I deleted my world after this and never returned 😕

There are a few glitches which happen... Such as houses gone or water bubbles... This happens due to world random seed reloading . And that water bubbles were like those sand caves everyone have experienced.... And those straight holes are like chunk glitches ... Or else it would not be straight and in older versions , fire spreads anywhere.

I'm seeing people giving their Herobrine stories. But the thing is, I remember encountering him, but not in Minecraft, but in a dream about Minecraft. In my dream, he was disguised as Steve, and I was Alex. We were "playing" together until he revealed who he truly is. Before anything else happened, I woke up. I didn't even know he existed at the time, so I have no idea how I dreamed about him...

Herobrine was actually in minecraft, its just because in old minecraft most people have not seen him yet. So mojang removed herobrine if every update, Herobrine scared most people by being hidden on herobrines minecraft account and when he appears without being invited.

My experience with Herobrine is weird. The story goes like this: I launched Minecraft and created a new world. No cheats. I loaded the world and got my basic stuff and then I explored a bit. I was in a forest biome when I saw a cross in the ground. I decided to ignore it. I saw many crosses in the ground. I thought it was just a world generation. I WAS WRONG. I explored more then I camed across a nether portal. I opened the chest and got all the loot, but then right as I turned my back a ligting bolt struck behind me. When I turned, the nether portal was gone. I still got had all my loot. I couldn't undestand. I came across a village and decided to built my base there. I went AFK for a moment, my mom wanted to help her. By the time I came back, the mobs were all gone. Then, as I exited the house, Minecraft completly crashed. I reloaded the game, but surprise, surprise, my world was gone! Any explination?
P.S. I lunced the world in single player and i didin't see Herobrine.
I remember when I just installed minecraft, I was 4 and my dad hot me how to play Minecraft and I learned how to play Minecraft then I looked behind myself and I thought I see Steve with white eyes, but I was wrong it was Herobrine. I looked up Steve with white eyes and it said Herobrine is a very scary creature is probably a myth but we'll never know. I started to freak out I went back on the road and I saw a forest fire and random forest fires are signs of Herobrine it's scary creepy but sometimes it's just lightning in a rare occasion. Now I'm going on my world everything trying to find Herobrine again.

My experience is not what everyone experienced.I was fighting a raid when i started drowning..ON SURFACE.Right when i was about to die i survived barely.Anyway all the pillagers were shooting at me but the arrows were just floating on me.Then a fire started at the other side of the village.I entered a house and just barely saw golden blocks and netherracks(Probably a shrine).The game crashed instantly and when i tried joining the game it just crashed it.I didnt see herobrine itself but it was a scary experience.It was in 1.16

Shark, I have had an encounter with Herobrine and ill tell you all about it, here goes everything...….. It started off as a normal survival world with my brother Quin, we were heading to the Nether at night and I heard some noises coming from behind me I turned around saw a shadowy figure with glowing white eyes in the pitch blackness, I ran up to attack the mysterious figure and he disappeared in a cloud of gray smoke. After our return from the Nether me and Quin went into our house and we saw Herobrine in the corner he walked up to us, touched us, and we were instantly banned from our world.
Oooooohh we have some shark fans who encountered herobrine, plus i can't even proof if herobrine is real because i don't have minecraft

The way I experienced here, Brian, is that before the 2 last upgrades these years, I have tried to do the shrine and nothing happened, so I'm like, ok, I'll just go and do my world stuff after a couple worlds are, so I've been seen weird stuff, and weird stuff has been happening to me like ive seen movement, I've seen Steve skin like half way out of a tree, and I'm like, ok, I'll just delete the world, and he'll be gone. I made 2 more worlds, and he's in them too, and I deleted the whole all the worlds, and I made another one I'm like, ok, maybe he'll be gone now and I deleted all the and he was still there, and I can not believe it at all

Plot twist: Herobrine's name ISN'T Herobrine in fact the name based on the one who emailed copeland BUT NOT the player so my theory is that you see back in 2009 Player mob was introduced so(SO) maybe Herobrine was one of the player mobs
And maybe the player mob's eyes glitched so they were only white
What if it was like the creeper where they tried to retexture Steve but failed as glitch happend where he had white eyes and they just deleted the file but some how the file got back into the game because the game was not as good back then as now.

my theory of who is herobrine and why/how it started:
it started in a old af Minecraft version, someone named kenos was playing Minecraft, but he found a steve-like person. However, it wasn't any normal steve. It was a creepy version. Since then the user decided to go investigate, but all of the leaves on the tree was cut off. and that's how the image was created. but in the first private versions, you could press B to spawn a human steve that just roams around, nothing else. However the horrifying truth how herobrine was created: Was notch had a brother, but notchs brother is dead. Sadly. Notch kept developing Minecraft and w/ jeb. But notch removed the human steve and forgot to remove some of its files. Which caused some terror game breaking entity exist. He was called: Herobrine, Because it was notchs dead Brother, jeb told notch there was a weird steve texture with white eyes, notch tried to remove the cursed entity, but it didn't work. Herobrine was stuck in Minecraft and notch was scared. So notch crossed his fingers hoping the entity was nice and makes the game more friendly. But it wasn't. So notch and jeb was confused what to do. So notch hired more devs to try and to fix it. Nothing worked. So that's what i think why/how this creepypasta was created.
