Nice review, I am a M140xi owner and after I tried this M135xi I just order it... Of course the engine is not as good but every thing else is better... and in real life the design is really nice...
Ordered mine last week, delivery in December. Chosen in this Misano Blau with M Alcantra Seats, harman Kardon and other nitfy options. I think price is too high and we're paying for BMW R&D and competition with Mercedes A35 (ended in same price in both competitors but I do prefer the BMW, Mercedes is strong but less amazing, esp the color :))

Great review. I'll hopefully be ordering mine this year. Did yours have the adaptive suspension? Mine won't have & I'll be on the 18's do you think the ride will be too firm or ok as a daily driver?
I've watched many uploads on this vehicle because I like it but I am getting the strong impression this is coming off as a sales pitch than a review. Aerial shots where nice 👌

I genuinely think it looks great, photos and videos don't do the car justice. It is all subjective and my opinion is that it is a great car. I knew I would get a lot of stick for this video and I am prepared for it, I have no problem with anyone voicing their opinions and I appreciate your honesty :) Matt.
Nah, it’s pig ugly. The previous car wasn’t pretty, but the LCI cars were pretty handsome. This looks like a squashed X2 and they’re hateful things. This F40 series car is very generic looking; line it up against an A Class, Focus etc and they all merge into one. The grille is too big, but that’s to be expected now from BMW, rear end is too fussy and looks too tall and that four cylinder engine in the drone shot just droned then farted and then went back to droning. We’ve already seen a video that shows the new drivetrain not being able to keep up with the B58 / ZF8 combo. I will concede that the previous car wasn’t exactly spacious inside but to me it feels like a nicer place than the Golf. The seats in the new car do look a lot more special than those in the old car though. Anyway, you’re bound to say it’s better because you’ve got to sell the bloody things! 😉

Motech have lowered it with Eibach springs, making it look a bit sportier. Should be good to see finished project they do
