    This little box kicks ass. I have it in my Marshall Origin 20 w/ a 4x12 cab and it sounds amazing, classic rock, to dead envelope filter, to metal it has everything I would ever need and very fun to tweak in the application.

    I thought you might be interested to know that the PRST file saved from the Matribox II is now in a different format. It is not in XML or any format readable with a text editor. I was hoping to import some of the GP100 or OG Matribox patches, but they are not recognizable to the Matribox II.

    Hello, thank you for sharing these works great on my Sonicake Matribox. L've a question is it possible to import not all but selected one from the patches, Let say l want to import only P10 from the v1.6 preset

    • @Tone-Quest

      There is no way to load just one patch from a bundle. You would have to install all the patches and save them out individually and then you would be able to pick and choose the ones you wanted to install.

  • @hect_ar
    @hect_ar 10 месяцев назад +1

    How to install? And... Can i install the patches to the user presets or these goes automatically to factory presets.
    Thnx for your answer.

    • @Tone-Quest

      Download the files GP100_v1.6-Converted-for-the-Matribox.prst and/or GP100_v1.7-Converted-for-the-Matribox.prst.
      Turn on the Matribox, connect the Matribox to your computer via USB and start the Matribox software app on your computer.
      Under User, click Import, navigate to where the patches are located, select the file and click open, it should then import the file.
      The Factory presets are always available and never can be overwritten unless during a firmware update. On a new Matribox, all the Factory presets are also copied to the user presets, so yes when you import the file(s) it will overwrite the user patches.

    hello , I've downloaded both files patches V1.6 and V1.7 and I thought there was different patches , but I can see that there are exactly same patches on each file , so what is difference between 1.6 and 1.7 ? However thanks for your work , and I ask you please if you have also some other free patches to add instead of some that I don't use .

    • @Tone-Quest
      @Tone-Quest  10 месяцев назад

      I would recommend you look at them again, with the focus being on the first 21 patches. Patches 22-99 appear to be the same on both, based on the patch names.
      As an example, the first patch on GP100 v1.6 is P01-TWD_Deluxe and the first patch on GP100 v1.7 is P01-It's_GP100.

    Do you know if it is possible to convert Hotone Ampero One or Stomp 2 presets to Ampero Mini?

    • @Tone-Quest
      @Tone-Quest  Год назад

      Sorry, I don’t know that answer to that question, mostly because I’ve never used those multi-effect pedals.

    • @Tone-Quest
      @Tone-Quest  Год назад

      I downloaded a patch that was saved or made on the Hotone Ampero One and though it is also a .prst file, the file appears to be saved in some other format than XML and thus I can't read what effects, amps and their settings are and therefore it wouldn't be possible to convert Hotone Ampero One or Stomp 2 presets to Ampero Mini from what I can see.

    I haven't opened mine yet. I've noticed you put all of the converted patches into two large files instead of individuals. How will I be able to use them on my Matribox in that way?Do they just temporarily replace the stock presets ... which is what I'm thinking?

    • @Tone-Quest
      @Tone-Quest  Год назад

      You can import the patch bundle and they will replace the out of box patches, but it is very easy to restore the unit, which will restore all the factory patches.

    The drum beats are awful. You get a groove going and suddenly in a few bars it goes to shit with a ridiculous bunch of drum rolls and stupid breaks in rhythm. This is why I'm hoping that they can be edited, perhaps on a good sequencer.
