I not so recently lost my wheel I bought back in 2020 or so it was the G923 and Ive wanted a direct drive wheel for a very long time but in this economy I don’t see that being possible anytime soon. I would really love to have a new wheel because of the fact that I have wanted to get into streaming/recording some racing games on my main account and I would love for you to be the reason I was able to get back into one of my favorite hobbies of sim racing
I was wandering. How stiff is it on max power?? I really want a direct drive ive never had one. I’ve always had an amazing fascination with sim racing wheels and games, but just like most people I know, cant ever afford the good lines of sim racing so I would absolutely love to win it! I know that you said most people will never go above 30% for rally racing but Im just so curious at how forceful it can be lol!
This is great and all, but what games will not accept this wheel, game developers don’t always allow for custom or premium grade wheels for use and often stick to the commercial brands.
It works on 90% of the major games out now,, F1 22,23,24, Ea WRC, WRC 10, WRC 9, iRacing, LMU, ACC, AC, ETS2, ATS, Dirt Rally, RFactor, RBR, FH5. And that's only a few of the titles it works on. The only Downside is it doesn't work on console, But neither did Moza until the R3, So i don't really know what your getting at with your comment🤷♂️
Was considerating to get a cammus c5 this winter, but the wheel itself is a bit too small I think. So I'm still looking more to the Fanatec csl dd side. Anyways, I don't know which one would be better in action. So.... It's worth to try
I would love to win the giveaway because for years I have been wanting to get into Sim racing, but I can't justify spending money on a non direct drive wheel when I know I will eventually upgrade anyways, but I haven't been able to afford a good wheel yet. I finally got a good enough computer a couple years back and was even gifted a vr headset by a friend but my bills have been kicking my butt since then so I haven't been able to get a wheel. I've still been having fun playing games like forza on controller, but Assetto corsa and beamng feel almost unplayable
Yeah if you run it too high your just going to have a heavy wheel and no feel a lot, so for say for track sims I use between 60-75 depending on the title for my main sim is wrc so if run anymore than 35% force the wheel just feels dead. So the wheel is great for immersion up to a certain force after that point it’s just a heavy wheel

But why I would like to win is I’ve been a rally fan in South Africa since birth, my father took me to all the local rallies we had before official sponsors like Toyota, Vw and ford pulled out the country. I then continued that passion to wrc playing all the way until wrc generations on a ps4 controller and placing first in a couple local esports events via the Toyota gaming engine site. I then used those funds to get myself a second hand g29 Logitech wheel, which for the longest time has been a shocking nightmare because of the software it runs 😢, still though, I take every opportunity outside my 9-5 to sit in my chair and go crazy with ea wrc. I really hope I’m chosen to win this wheel, again if I am chosen, I do have family that could potentially handle the shipping to South Africa. Love from SA.
You can get it to work on console by using a third part adapter, A bit like how people use KBM on Console, Ill find out what its called and PM on Discord!

It's a direct drive portable wheel. A bit ugly but so was the Gumpert Apollo S. Performance is all I need. Looks cost too much money and space :D

Yeah on the more hardcore sims you will tend to struggle on controller it's not impossible just very hard.
How's the immersion of the ffb? Does it give good feeling for what the car does in game or is it just 12nm of force without immersion?
The immersion is there, but too high and you will get loads of clipping.
@MikeyyRS how do you mean? I have 82% ffb on t300 to get ride of clipping, I think most dd/belt never can go 100% because of clipping
