Hey Paul bro ! ..and young Norman.. bless him !! 🐾 ..he's the supervisor !! 😁🐾😉 The bikes look awesome my friend !! That Custard colour frame looks amazing.. can't wait to see that bike built up and finished !! ..what a bargain for 70 squids !! ..and the rest of the parts !! ..scored mate !! ..ha ha I have one grip.. In the Wild West I would have been known as a one armed bandit !! 😉😂☺ That rear wheel is mint !! ..I loved those old 3 speed Sturmey Archer gear chains.. I used to work on my own.. sometimes to good effect !! lol
Hi Andy oh yes oh lord I scored lol 😂 this new project excites me but at the same time I hope I like it I'm sure I will, thank you for viewing have a great weekend cheers 🍻
Hi Paul, another very enjoyable video. Im looking forward to seeing what colour you've chosen for the new project. The show looked very good, nice parts you picked up there. Hope you have a good weekend. Jerry
Hi Jerry wow haven't heard from you in a while?! Hope all OK glad you enjoyed the videos, yes hopefully the new project will be a stunner it certainly will be different lol 😂 Enjoy your weekend, is in sunny where you are? Cheers 🥂
I've still been enjoying your videos. I have been busy with all my hobbies. The other day I bought a new Hornby Flying Scotsman, it is a steam generator one. It looks pretty stunning as it puffs real steam out, has sounds and the firebox flickers inside the footplate. It rained in the night here, its cloudy with sunny patches at the moment. I think a chopper would look cool with a metal flake colour, like custom cars had in the 1970's. I hope your weather there isn't too bad. Cheers.
@@jerrysmith2133 Hi Jerry that flying scotsman sounds amazing, that 70's custom car look sounds amazing you could be quite warm lol 😂 it's really warm here, thanks for viewing and commenting as always cheers 🥂
I had mk2 in red as a kid in 1980-3. Went everywhere on it. It was very heavy compared to the grifter and BMX bikes. But I just got used to it and just preferred the chopper. Happy days.
Hi mate thanks for the comment, when I was a kid I never owned a chopper I had a Grifter, first a red one then a blue one, they indeed were happy days, used to ride for miles and go everywhere on it just like yourself, great memories cheers 🥂 and have a great weekend
Hey Eric nice to hear from you as always! Yes bargains galore, behind the scenes progress is being made on the custom build as we speak!! Have a great Sunday cheers 🥂
@paulmartin4971 keep working hard mate you've turned out some nice bikes great collection might have to come along to one of the shows look forward to next video
Hey paul mate i honestly cant get over some of the prices you managed to pick some of them bargains up for mate! Great to see the custom custard again 🤣 the space blue is looking great mate and cant wait to see the custard taking shape mate 😁🍻👌
Hey Josh mate I'm in the shed roaring with laughter that video is class looooool I wish I could upload that to RUclips as a short lol 😂 the shed actually is a hive of activity of the wind sort as had an Indian about 2hrs ago lol 😂, yes I was very lucky 🍀 over the show with my haul, things are moving with the custom custard 🍮, will bell 🛎 you over the weekend and fill you in. Cheers 🍻
Cracking... Some lovely results, you could flip those wheels and make £40. Nice collection of parts. Prices seem to be falling on parts. Frame and forks for £70 is a steal.. nice work
Hey Mike Josh just told me it was you that made that vid that's pure class I was roaring with laughter lol 😂 maybe in the future you could do a comperlation of my farts will try and squeeze one out on the next vid lol 😂 I'm off to watch it again lol 😂 cheers 🥂
Recently saved an old neglected Raleigh Twenty from the dump simply because it had good chrome brakes, lamp bracket & Heron crankset. Am I right in thinking these parts will fit on a Chopper? Had a yellow mk1 from new as a kid.
Hi mate thanks for viewing and commenting and well done for saving the bike 🚲, yes all the parts are transferable allthough the crank has got 2 extra teeth and the arms are an inch longer which makes it ideal for adult riders, I've got the larger crank and arms on 3 of mk2's as I prefer them, imagine what you're old chopper would be worth now lol 😂 cheers 🥂
@@paulmartin4971 yeah a bit more than the 27 quid it cost. Had a family friend who worked at the factory & got it for us, Christmas pressie. Forget the year 1970 give or take, one of the first in our village. Wish I still had it & my FS1/E & my Lambretta SX200...etc etc.
@@Free_Ranger_CT110 lol 😂 yes we all had things we wished we had now, I had a fs1e (fizzy) yellow it was I loved it, I also owned a lambo reg was cmx 87A, these things are worth a fortune now, great times happy days things seemed so much better then than now, I also had a Grifter back in the day much better to ride than the chopper in my opinion!!?? Hi Phil mate yes I got some bargains lol 😂, cogs are allready in motion on this build! Hopefully will be a stunner, you've got to love a bit of wind 🍃 lol 😂 have a great weekend cheers 🍻
