A Great Video, I just got the 2024 Chopper Delivered, I thought Fizzy Lemon might be too bright on my eyes, So I went for the Space Blue version. I managed to just get the sale thru before the website crashed out on the 1st release. I did log back in again on the 2nd batch to try for the Fizzy Lemon for a gift, as it said you could have one of each colour per customer, but, I ended up in such a big queue, I fell asleep, then the website refreshed. So I am not sure, if I even made it in the 2nd queue or not & it then timed out. I do wonder how many were produced, but, Raleigh are not saying. My First Queue order was 1760 approx, so is that a random number or part of the volume. I did notice quite a lot have appeared on Ebay for a bit of a profit. It would be interesting to know how many were sold thou, as we may spot a few out and about. It is also profit for Raleigh, so what do we think 2,500 of each colour or less were produced for 2024 ?. Anyone with insider knowledge that can share how many were sold for 2024 ?.

@@IconicBrands123 - I think it may have been the same, the order numbers for the Blue was in the 1000+, I bought a Blue one, I did see there was some Yellow ones left on the following morning with no queue for them, I could have got another one in Yellow, but, I left it, then they all sold out a few hours later on the following day of the 2nd date release. I see a few people have listed them on Ebay, trying to get a profit, I will probably keep mine, I am tempted to convert it to electric with a Bafang 250watt motor on it, for more fun.

@@IconicBrands123 - The Build Quality seemed very good on it. I don't know how Alan managed on it, I am 6 Foot, but, I seem to have long legs. I put the seat height to the max and I tried to ride it and was really struggling without a lot of discomfort & pain trying to do a few metres on it. I ride often on my other cycles & I need a lot of leg distance. I was going to keep it & ride it now & again, but, most likely I will probably sell it on to someone that wants one & can ride it like it should be used. I also bought some spare new wheels complete & a rear tyre & wing mirrors, to go with it. I will be selling it at near cost price to me with the extras & no silly profits, if anyone wants a 2024 Model in Blue, a few miles South of Croydon, I have one for sale. With some Spare Brand New Wheels & Extras & less than 200 Metres test ridden on it. It sill looks mint out of the box.

Perhaps some day Raleigh will close its manufacturing plant down in Taiwan, like it did in GT. Britain and manufacture their bikes again in Nottingham, England. As for the remake I think it’s really nice and a lot better then the MK3 version. Raleigh make the original sissy bar which can be purchased from Raleigh and fitted to the new MK4 Chopper which is the original height. Other then that, the only component I’d question for authenticity is the front light bracket holder. I think the detail could be improved on that. The red is really eye catching though.
