I wanted to make a joke about such delicious looking food... but i got naan.
Hahaha
Come on man! Please stop making insensitive jokes about words from our culture. Give respect, take respect.
@@julianbanks1885 y is it insensitive! no probs with that, I'm Asian!
Hahaha
Making it as we speak! Dough is made, garlic is peeled, oven is preheating. Can't wait :)
woohoo!
The dough has to rest so I'm sure the timing was fine :)
Tell us how it went! We already waited one year to know!
I made this and it turned out soft yet dense but I really liked it. Half the recipe in the oven and the other half I fried. Nice to enjoy a yeast free recipe. This is so delicious.Thank you!
каждое утро так готовлю

On the menu for tomorrow then?
+Food with Chetna I need to see if I can use almond milk, but I'm pretty sure I can, so YES! 😸
Me tooo😴😴😴
You can just use water if you don't want to use dairy - enjoy!
I shouldn't of watched this high!
Chetna thank you. I have contemplated making naan here in Germany without a gas stove and just my electric one. But in your video, they turned our nice and airy in the oven too. I'm looking forward to trying this recipe.
Made these with some Rogan Josh yesterday. My friends were stunned. This is the first recipe I've used where the naans don't end up dry - hadn't thought of using the grill function of the oven. Do you have a tandoor, Chetna?
Thank you Chanta great recipes 👍👏💕

Everything about this is heavenly. I've found myself a project for my lazy day on Sunday... 😌
yes!!!!! happy cooking
Love your videos, have done many recipes of yours. Just wondering why you grill some naans and fry others in a dry pan. Is there a difference? Thank you xx
Oh man, i love naan! She reminds me of my dentist btw.. it's pretty much identical.
Take the garlic naan and grate a good amount of Fontana cheese on it. Stick it back under the broiler until the chess melts and is a little bubbly (don't brown the cheese). OMG is it good!!
For roasting the garlic should I use the convection mode?
I knew I recognized you! You were on Bake Off!
Yes!!!!!
absolutely delicious😍
Thanks
I'm in luv..........with these naans.
Woohoo!
HOORAY FOR NAAN LOVE!
In the making right now Chetna. Will take picks and show the outcome. Only trying the garlic and onion though
MMMMM! LOOKS GOOD & HEALTHY 😋😍
Definitely!
she is so lovely!!!
seems authentic as hell
YUMM
Thanks!
Can you make these or the dough ahead and freeze?
I like the whole milk in the base dough - I usually use yoghurt which means I need to go out and get some. Always have milk, don't always have yoghurt. I'll give it a try.
Woohoo, enjoy!
She is so lovely
We agree 😊
i tried to make naan with yeast the other day and they turned out pretty dry.... i am definitely going to give this recipe a try. thank you!! p.s. = i thought you wuold "peel" the garlic like jamie haha
that looks very good. I'm going to make the garlic ones over the weekend. thank you.

A perfect weekend treat!
Always wanted to make Naan. Now I can! Thank you!
Yeah!!!!!
Hi Chetna, will normal, flat non-stick pan works as well?
in my local indian restaurant I always take peshwari naan, but it's made with coconut and almond. I will definitely try this version at home :)
Hope you will like this version too!
the real trick is coordinating this all with keeping an eye on the rice and the chana masala
I love when Indian girls speak English the accent is just so charming
What brand of pans are you using?
Delicious! but can tell me what solid is?
For those of us living in the states what would a medium heat be?
My oven doesn't have a grill function, is there a particular temperature that I can bake the naans in? Thank you!!
I just made this garlic style and it's feckin wonderful. On a griddle pan is the way to go.Thank you for this. Keema naan next?
glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! Thanks a lot lovely Chetna. I love Naan, but I didn't know how to do it at home.
simple and easy!
Food with Chetna I just tried it 😁😁😁 delicious!
Naan is one of my all-time favourites, it looks soo delicious ❤️ I'm definetely going to try these at the weekend! :)
Oh and btw, I'd really like to share one of my favourite songs at the moment with so you can have some tasty music as sidedish to your delicious meal. The song is called: Benedict Ammann - The Rules
I hope you'll love it as much as I do! Have a nice thursday evening everyone :)
Love from Italy, Elena
Wonderful music, thanks elena (:
Nice recommendation, cool song :)
Elena Suarez this indian lady is not making the naan correctly. I'm really sure that you will love Indian naam in true *indian* way very much. The way she is making is so much different from Indians make.
When I saw this my eyes popped open. It was mentioned so dearly in The Kite Runner.
Give this recipe a whirl and you'll be able to taste the magic for yourself.
OMG i remember watching you on The Great British Bake Off!!!
Yes, hope you like the recipes!
I love your recipes, thank you for the love ^_^

Use self raising flour for garlic nan?
Niiiccee! please make more videos in the future! :D I loved it!
You can follow my channel for more recipes!
There really seems to be a million different ways to make naam, the last one I tried used dry-yeast for example, while you used simple bakingsoda.
I'm definitely going to try your way, much simpler and faster.
And delicious too! hope you will like these!
Chetna is evergreen
Three cheers for Chetna!
By "under the grill" do you mean broiler or just in the oven?
Ohhh wow.like u will kill it..awesome trisome..love naan and nw with three fav ways... definitely to try..love ur presence and style Chetta

Hope you will try these!
just tried the caramelised garlic filling, and it was delicious, i'll try to prepare Chicken tikka with it next time, thanks Chetna !
that will be the perfect pairing!
鷹愛鷹 exactly what temp do i need to put the naan inside for medium heat
what non-dairy milk would be a good alternative for the naan?
PS. I really like Chetna, invite her more often please!!
just add water.
You can just add water!
Almond milk is the perfect alternative, not water lol that will make it taste bland.
was that ironic? :P
Any milk would be fine. Coconut, nut etc.
Love trying new things. Tomorrow ' naan bread ' Love it!
Hope you will enjoy making these!
Food with Chetna
Thanks, gonna try my best!
Let us know how they turn out!
I will!
My microwave has 2options for grillingone is jst simple grill mode and the other is a combi of micro+grill...for making the naans which mode do I go for??
Nice madamji the idea to make naan with American touch actually from side of India are you I mean wich state best greats from Germany
Chetna, i hope you read the comments still. Can you try a gluten free version? I am one of the unfortunate ppl who cant use wheat, naan will be ideal if made in big batches and freeze in single portions, but i struggle ginding a good recipe. Thank you🌼
@6.42... is it caramelized onion or caramelized garlic... or did I miss something in the garlic naan recipe?
Thanks for this, I love naan breads, I'm just wondering if the milk is absolutely necessary? Could I use some yoghurt and water instead, and still get classic naan taste? :)
Yes water is fine!
Saw u on British bake off, on Australian tv! Anyone knows what happens then?
Aww man, I absolutely love naan and these are so easy to make! My waistline is gonna hate me! 😂Thanks Chetna, these look delicious.
glad you like it
in naan only whit flour is use .....
with brown flour this bread called rotee....
Under the grill, is that the broiler?
One of the worst things about being gluten intolerant is that I can never have a proper tastig naan. Have tried making my own gluten free versions but until now I haven't cracked it yet. These look so good and I wish I could try them out :(
