    300 gr plain flour1/2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt3 tsp olive oil150 ml milk-rest 1 hour -- 2-4 min under the grill medium heat-

    I made this and it turned out soft yet dense but I really liked it. Half the recipe in the oven and the other half I fried. Nice to enjoy a yeast free recipe. This is so delicious.Thank you!

    Chetna thank you. I have contemplated making naan here in Germany without a gas stove and just my electric one. But in your video, they turned our nice and airy in the oven too. I'm looking forward to trying this recipe.

    Made these with some Rogan Josh yesterday. My friends were stunned. This is the first recipe I've used where the naans don't end up dry - hadn't thought of using the grill function of the oven. Do you have a tandoor, Chetna?

    Just made the garlic ones, loved them! Tried with cream cheese on top and it was delicious! I highly recomend it.

    Take the garlic naan and grate a good amount of Fontana cheese on it. Stick it back under the broiler until the chess melts and is a little bubbly (don't brown the cheese). OMG is it good!!

    I like the whole milk in the base dough - I usually use yoghurt which means I need to go out and get some. Always have milk, don't always have yoghurt. I'll give it a try.

    in my local indian restaurant I always take peshwari naan, but it's made with coconut and almond. I will definitely try this version at home :)

      Elena Suarez this indian lady is not making the naan correctly. I'm really sure that you will love Indian naam in true *indian* way very much. The way she is making is so much different from Indians make.

    There really seems to be a million different ways to make naam, the last one I tried used dry-yeast for example, while you used simple bakingsoda.
    I'm definitely going to try your way, much simpler and faster.

    Chetna, i hope you read the comments still. Can you try a gluten free version? I am one of the unfortunate ppl who cant use wheat, naan will be ideal if made in big batches and freeze in single portions, but i struggle ginding a good recipe. Thank you🌼

    One of the worst things about being gluten intolerant is that I can never have a proper tastig naan. Have tried making my own gluten free versions but until now I haven't cracked it yet. These look so good and I wish I could try them out :(
