Juju's not even on pace to break the record, her averages have dropped. Caitlin was averaging 24/10 for the ladder half of the W season, if that's her ceiling than that'd routinely be among the best seasons ever. Caitlin also has great positional size, and has a lot of room for defensive growth. You put those 2 on a team, opponents are scheming for Caitlin 1st.
A lot of room for defensive growth is true, Juju is already closer to closing that gap where as Clark has to improve A LOT on that end. Juju also has a better supporting cast than what Clark had at Iowa, hence why Clark had to be responsible for majority of the teams points whether she scored or assisted. Kate Martin was her only help. Juju has a better team, in turn, she doesn’t have to put out the same amount of numbers Clark did
@@lifeinthestands Difference in offensive production is night and day. I was talking about the WNBA season btw. For the last half Caitlin was averaging 25/5/9 on 48/39/92 shooting spits surrounded by some of the best players in the world. Even with talent she still puts up world class numbers, Juju's not even close to this production and her comp is college athletes. Like I said, you put those 2 on a team, Caitlin is running the offense and getting schemed against. It's not like she's a net negative defender too. She was top 20 in blocks & steals in the WNBA this season.
U guys don't know ball at all holy... 😭The fever were the 6th seed, they have the #8 pick. Also Caitlin is quite literally the best guard prospect in history, All-1st team & 4th in MVP as a rookie isn't crazy? How isn't there room for growth?
Nobody ever said she’s bad, but she gets picked on a lot on defense making her a liability on that end of the floor. Juju is not a liability in that aspect Also, the fever can still get a quality player at that pick, we were talking theoretical situations in regard to the draft.. calm down
@@lifeinthestands Juju isn't in the same stratosphere as a facilitator as Caitlin. I'd argue that the gap in offensive capabilities is quite large. Caitlin is an offensive engine. Juju is dropping 16 pts and 2 asts in 36 minutes against Purdue, it's not close, and we'll see come tournament time.

We love women’s basketball
Yes we do
Juju Watkins is better than Clark… she’s actually the GOAT and going to better than anyone who has ever played
Juju is great but let’s pump the brakes a little bit 😭

He will be as long as he stays healthy lol
No and Hell NO!
That’s what you think. Should revisit this years from now
