Call me old fashioned but those pops and bangs would drive me insane after a week. In terms of real MPG, what do you get when you blast it down A/B roads for 30mins? My current daily is a Focus ST MK3 and I often have that sitting at 20mpg after a fast run. I would assume if I had the M140i I’d see around 15mpg.
@@Liam-wc5ym I do accelerate briskly from traffic lights and do over take slower moving vehicles. I mean I drive carefully and safely, but don't drive specifically in a fuel conscious way if that makes sense. I have the ZF8 auto and once I'm up to speed and driving at a relatively constant speed then the mpg improves. If I get caught up in stop/start traffic in town centres then obviously mpg isn't so good......but most of my driving is done during the late evening when traffic is thinner. Also I drive in "Comfort mode" 90 % of the time rather than "Sport". I never use "Eco Pro" mode though as I don't like the feeling and it doesn't actually save that much in fuel.
My 140 sits on 21mpg and I drive happily around daily I find it difficult to drive it in comfort I think you can achieve 27mpg driving normal granny mode. On the motorway 40mpg. I had a 2.0 S3 before and I would comfortably say the 140 is more efficient. Can't go wrong 450bhp car being so efficient.
In terms of MMI, your car doesn't have the pro nav. The pro nav is a bigger screen and has the option to get apple CarPlay. Probably the reason why you don't like it
There is a m140i that's been on rank 1 top draggy leaderboard 100-200kph 4.8sec that is pushing 830bhp on stock engine big g35 turbo. Only recently beaten by wrench studio m140 which is fully built engine 1000+ bhp
Ohhh yeaaah!!! Can't beat the Wrench sauce 🙌 i have huge respect for wrench... m140i is definitely there favourite cars to tune.. I'm hoping to take mine 700bhp too :) knowing the capabilities of these engines.. can't go wrong!!
Excellent video, very insightful. The only thing in my opinion that lets these cars down is the looks. Don't get me wrong, I've seen m140s with splitters kits, etc and look really smart but it is defo missing that wow factor I think. Performance and engine you just cannot beat though.

I own a standard M140i and most of my driving is along 50mph/60mph A Roads with minimal traffic and I get about 32/33mpg.
