Думая об этом предстоящем разрыве каждый раз, когда я смотрю выступление ABBA, я просто в ужасе от того, что переживали эти две прекрасные женщины. Но как с достоинством они перенесли расставание!!! Все четверо... Уважение

RIP: Liza Ohman. The back up singer behind Benny. She passed away on January 20th, 2022 in Stockholm. She placed third in the 1980 Melodie competition behind her co-singer with ABBA, Thomas Ledin. The day after her and Thomas flew to join ABBA on their tour in Japan. I believe this appearance with ABBA was her last. She was known for her positive attitude even during some of the difficult parts of the ABBA global tours.

I thought it was touching how close Agnetha and Frida stood throughout the performance, and also how they seemed to gain more courage and strength as the performance progressed. It was a terrible time for them--especially Frida. And yet they managed to put on a incredible performance. It was the end, yes, but they were unmatchable and they knew it. There will never be another Abba. They really did catch lightning in a bottle.

NIce comments. We all want to believe that Frida and Agnetha were friends, even at the end. I posted a comment on another video, even later than this one, where they were literally touching shoulders when they sang together. Edit-oh, it's this one. And they are almost attached at the hip in the last few songs, why? They didn't have to sing like that.

ABBA is considered one of the largest in music history with over 400 million records sold (2014 but new statistics indicate that there are still larger sales figures due to misreporting in some countries) ABBA is one of the few artists to have achieved success across all the continents of the earth. In the mid-1970s, they were the most successful pop group in the world in all categories. Abba has nearly 70 singles as number 1 worldwide and over 60 albums as number 1. Worldvide --- In the UK they had 19 straight top 10 singles, 10 singles and nine albums as no. 1 on the British top list of which eight are in succession (1975, -76, -77, -78, -79, -80, -81, -82). In 2014, the group had sold at least 400 million records and is thus Sweden's most successful music export of all time. Abbas Music also palyed Now in the Musical and Film "Mamma Mia" and in other films and Musicals. Abba became the first pop group from Continental Europe / Nordic to achieve greater success in the English-speaking world for a long time.
Abba was elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 and the Swedish Music Hall of Fame in 2014.

Doesn’t matter, from fake Bro country, to R+B to hip hop, to current pop, quality is down the tubes. I don’t say that as a crusty old boomer, I say it as a singer who was trained and knows the difference. Heck, give me a song about pickups, beer and chicks with a fake southern accent, make me 25 and I could do that fake country act.

It's so refreshing to just listen to ABBA in a world of hate, politics, brainwashing and horrifying media and tv. The stressful lives with social media and social issues. Music is about sex, ego, or other dumb shit by money and attention seeking artists and their greedy music compianies. Taking a break from all that with ABBA and some weed has become therapy for me.

The Beatles music was totally different you cannot compare the two bands , Abba was more pop , the both bands were great , good song writing , they both played a part in history especially the Beatles because they came to America first , Abba didn’t need to or want to do a US tour early on , but of course they did and by that time people knew there music well and there shows sold out...

Beautiful music, great presence, and of course all is said for the beautiful voices of the two women here.. but the first thing I notice in this gem of video is the great hidden strength of Agnetha and Frida here (all we know the things was bad for both of them the latest abba years).. You can feel they are "off" with the mind, the eyes are sad , but solid. They help each other with vocals, smiles and affinity. Thank you ABBA, Agnetha, Frida, Benny and Bjorn , thank you for all your beautiful music. Really.

Regardless, I didn't mean that as a put down. Their unison singing was an incredibly compelling force which characterized most of their major hits, just as Fleetwood Mac capitalized largely on their vocal harmonies.

Something in between an organ and a synthesizer. In America the entire " Fäbodpsalm" at the introduction was played on that GX1.
