When we moved out to the country my husband made trails through the woods and gave them street signs with the grandkids and great grandkids name . They all loved to direct you to their streets
I love that you gave the kids space to give their honest answers and I pray everyone holds on until the new house is built!!!! What an exciting journey! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
The devil!!! Ha! I love these little insights into the children. Thank you so much for all you share. Our lives are so different, but I love watching you and your beautiful family.
I bet watching the Perseids at night in August will be amazing! Maybe a great time for camping outside, a fire and friends. They are going to love all the memories made out there-so magical!!
Thank you for not censoring them. Life is life, up and downs but with the right attitude all things are lived better. I love everyone’s response to the home and house. Appreciate the changes, nature. You have adapted amazingly Sarah. Solos response is always gratitude and hope. Peace is precious ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Luka is honest. He really does not like to be on UTUBE and that is his personality. I do not like taking pictures, it is my personality. I Am That I Am made us all individuals. Thank you Solo and Sarah for respecting all your children's personality. Beautiful Family, God Blessed.
Such a beautiful family. I love that every single child has a huge smile on their face as they talk with mama. Shows how loving you are and how wonderful they all will be as they grow up. Glad I found your channel.

I like all the family being so honest! Change makes you more flexible to adapt to do different situations. I like Peace answer, no, no, no, no, no.....😂❤🎉😊 Good looking family and well mannered children.
I loved the answers! Always pros & cons but enjoy where you are. I remember the video when Peace answered yes to everything so I laughed more with each no 😂

I think you made the right decision. It will be amazing once you have your new house. Jilt, but your lifestyle is so wonderful now and the children have so much space to play and make lots of memories.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Its all so exciting, and such very honest answer`s from the family, i just love d the head shake from Peace she is such a wee character. In saying that your children are so loving and respectful towards each other it`s a treat to see in this day and age, i know there must be the odd time you might want to pull your hair out but that is natural. When you have built the new home, what are your plans for the one you are living in.
Sarah I love your transparency! And not being weird but we don't normally see many close ups of the kids and wow...ur kids have the prettiest white teeth! Great job mom and dad!!!
I love the country!!! I was fortunate enough to spend my childhood in the city during the week for school and on a family farm on the weekends!!! God Bless!!!
Loved the interviews with the kids as each one of them are so special. Change is a good thing in life as it helps to see things through different lenses. Enjoyed and thanks. Hi! Kids.
I had to watch Peaces interview several times, she is absolutely adorable 😍😍😍 I miss my granddaughter so much😢😢 i haven't been able to see her in almost a year... Your family brings me so much comfort and hope for the future....
sarah, i was born and raised in california. oh yeah i was a socal worship the sun girl. at age 53 circumstances found me moving north to vancouver, washington state. it took me only one year and i realized i really was someone who LOVED winter and 9 months of rain and cold temperatures and lots of snow. i LOVE WINTER now suffer during the summer months. who knew! and i got rid of the hollywood influence and i don't wear make up no jewelry and love sweats and tshirts!!!! i feel like me and not what others say i should and need to look like!
We moved from Wisconsin to North Carolina about a year ago. It takes time to make a new place home. My kids missed their friends something fierce at first, but they are slowly finding their footing and moving forward with new friends. I actually think it's a good life lesson to learn early in ones life... that people will come and go, places will come and go, and we have to learn to be adaptable. Awesome Video ❤️, our favorite thing is the different birds around our place, we bought what I call wooden garden post added shelving brackets bent the ends and hung different types of bird houses staggering them all around the post, we placed them where we could see them while walking through the house, we feed them in the winter and then not as often in the summer as they feed on the berries and what not, we bought a book of birds in our state and had fun learning about them, something your kids may like. Our favorites are the wood peckers, Cardinals and Blue Jays
My Dad had a love of birds and the rocky sea shore. My Mum passed away a few years ago on boxing Day (26th December) and the following year we were doing the dishes and outside were 6 beautiful birds flying in a figure 8 formation dipping and diving right in front of us. It went on for about and hour and until they flew off they only stayed on our property. We both thought it might of been a sign that Mum was with us on the first anniversary of her being called home to God. We never saw them again and it meant a lot to both of us. 13 months and one day after mum passed I found my Dad after he had unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his sleep. I looked for the birds on his first anniversary but they never came. Nature can really have a peaceful calming feeling in different ways for each of us. When I read your comment about putting up bird houses it brought back these memories for me so I wanted to thank you. I have just moved into the house Dad and I had planned to build (same area but a smaller house since it's just me now) and I hope you don't mind I'm going to copy your idea and put up a few bird houses on my fence line. 😊
@@amyrivers4093 I sorry to hear of your parents passing, my father passed in 2012 and I miss him every day, we love to watch the birds it is a very peaceful thing to do, I hope the bird house idea brings you much joy 🙂

Not having space is taking a toll on all of us, but it is wonderful to realize that the kids can see and appreciate the gains of living further away from the huss and fuss of the city. So nice to see everyone's perspective on the move! they definitely have opinions so great to see that your listening moving is always just a very big thing to get used to but pretty sure will be more enjoyable once the new house is ready; being in nature is amazing so are so happy you are able to experience that
Precious Family!! I thought I was a city girl, too but no more work or traveling with my husband’s job and I’m in the country at age 70 I’m glad I’m “ HOME”
I love these interviews! Nesa definitely loves the country life. She's like a big dog in a little body. She thinks big.😂 Peace is so darn cute shaking her little head.😊

Sarah, good luck with your house building project! Otl sounds like you are about to break ground but one point I wanted to bring up is that it sounds like you've got a fantastic builder who has experience with building on acreages so that is wonderful as there are definite differences with septic tanks, wells/water quality and electrical needs to be accounted for when building on a country property. One suggestion I have is if you are planning on staying here on into your retirement, you should consider building your master bedroom/bath on the main floor so that you can age in place. At only 52, I had a massive stroke. When I purchased my home in Omaha in 1996, I thought at one point my mom would move in with me so I made sure that there was at least one bedroom and one full bath on the main floor, along with all of the main living areas and kitchen. Although my mom never ended up living with me, it turned out to be a blessing for me as I was able to return home and with just a few changes I am able to live comfortably in my home. I put up grab bars around the tub and shower in my main bathroom and built a wheelchair ramp off of my French doors that lead to the backyard so that I can easily get in and out of the house in my wheelchair. Fortunately most of my doorways were a bit wider so that is maybe something else you want to consider as well as keeping your master bedroom/bath on the first floor is making your doorways a minimum of 36" wide so should someone in a wheelchair need to get in and out of the rooms t.hey can do so easily. You may be too far down the path for the suggestions to be implemented but I wanted to bring them to your attention if you and Solo are planning on living your retirement on this property. I wish you well and are looking forward to watching the progress in your new life adventure!
Absolutely right, gratitude and loved this video. Enjoyed hearing the kids what they like, and they didn't like.❤ About moving That's always thank you for sharing and god bless
Love your kids! Micah is growing up so fast! Hopefully, they will all like the property better when you build the new house. In the meantime, you all are creating so many precious memories!
This was so fun , and interesting, I love their honesty. 😊 we are in a similar situation. I’m glad to hear you Sarah wondering how they’ll feel in winter . It’s helpful to prepare for it more than in town for sure ; stocking up is a much bigger need , preparing spots for plants indoors ( if any ) painting anything , animal spots with water and heat source …. A snowplow ! All the things ! But somehow it’s extra cozy too especially if you have a wood stove !
OMG!!!! GASP!!! I did not recognize Luka!!!!! I was like is that a cousin?!?! Then he smiled and turned his head sideways and almost at the same time it said his name and I’m like OMG! That’s Luka!!! How quickly these kids grow!!!!! Also, I love that you gave the kids the space to voice how they really felt. Moving is hard regardless of where you move to.
The children are so adorable! I grew up on a large property, and I couldn’t get away fast enough. Now that I am older, I find myself longing to go back to what I was running from all those years ago.
We moved to the country from a small town almost 1.5 years ago. I love love love the quietness of it all. The beauty of it is so special to me as well.
Hugs Sarah , you guys are smart I did the same thing long time ago moved my kids out of the big city to the country they did not like it at first but eventually loved it . and your kids are very smart I see your very proud . I almost forgot I think you should add on yo the existing house you have on your land this way it will not be so expensive this is just food for thought I'm know you all will figure it out .

They’re building a separate house. They’re set on that decision.
It is so amazing how big Destiny and Hope is now listening to them talk. I am so glad you are able to live out there. Your kiddos are all beautiful. ❤
