Deserves to be viral: an excruciating interview with the kind of Swede you wouldnt see in the media these days. Followed by a surely pissed off band giving a performance of perfect, skillful, sexy, tense pop sublimity.
Ouch. Now that's patience. Another in the series of painful pre-song interviews that were all too common on this show. I think there's one with The Jam, and Paul Weller is characteristically less polite than Glenn and Chris. Skip to 3.55 to avoid the pain and enjoy the song.
Exactly, Brookfield. Worked in a band in Europe in the 90's and all these presenters were weird. And you had to pretend to laugh along with something you didn't get but the audience obviously loved!
The umpteenth example of what a great live band this roster was. Thank you.
Oh wow, I've never heard any version of this song that feature John's vocals that well. Really nice.

It's refreshing to hear the performance is actually being played live and lip synced...
That was lip synched?

The worst thing about this video is having to listen to that interviewer go on and on and on and on .. LET THE DAMM BAND PLAY ALREADY Jesus!
Obnoxious , drawn out intro 3:35
"Glenn Tillcock" !!
