Well, Kurt Cobain was pretty the same lol, he said in an interview that he didn't know almost anything about music theory. I'm not saying that music theory isn't important bc it is, but you know, I think that it's not something that you necessarily have to understand to be a good musician;)
I'm thinking of leaving Team Gibson for Team Fender. It's been nice but if I'm looking for a certain sound I'm gonna need some better control. And Fender seems like you can have enough control to play nice clean notes but if you want to get heavy and add distortion, it provides the right amount of distortion. I think I want a Telecaster. Everybody says get the Strat but I believe I might get what I need from the Tele.
He’s moving 7th chords around in the key of D, using the shapes that have the root on the 5th string. DMaj7 up to the 4th; GMaj7, down to the 3rd; F#min7, down to the 2nd; Emin7, and finally back down to DMaj7.
AHHHHHHH rewatching this and realizing the beginning is what kinda woman is wild 😭😭😭

3:59 bro is angelic
The way he started playing Say It Ain't So and realized he was playing Babydoll🤣
sounds so pretty
The fact that he doesn’t know music theory and only know one song on the guitar is baffling. i think he got so good only composing his songs/work

Too much text, sorry
@@PerlaBarista what should u understand then?
@@wentze5918 You shouldn't understand anything, you should feel it. The only way for that to happen is just too play and keep playing
music theory doesn't = good work. The Beatles knew only the basic chords and worked with what they had.
