Tick goes away after it warms up. Yes I thought about the milvs Im going to install them once I need to get valve cover replaced.. I used ceratec and it helps with the ticking
Ruined the look .. just way to busy.. but that’s a Texas thing a guess…. Better investment would be to get a RWD and 6 speed manual.. try one and you will see it more planted has less weight over the front axle.. all aluminum va steel.. sounds better ..and instant throttle.. so yes the auto / xdrive is not the best example for a BMW especially the e90
2008 328i coupe 6speed here. Cherry red with the carbon and silver emblems. 20% windows and m3 style stagger fit. Firestone Indy500 tires and this thing stays planted.
i did this to my n52, im currently having to go through n54 throttle body’s, each time they all say throttle actuator jammed or something like that, im wondering did you also have that issue? if not is it a dme issue? cause i checked the wiring to check if its good but theirs nothing wrong with it
No, I never experienced that issue. Do you have a tune? . 1st, I would take off tb gets some carb cleaner, and clean it really well. Then do a throttle body rest..
N54 manifold is lots of peak power, while the 3 stage is power everywhere. 3stage if you have an automatic, you'll love the extra torque for daily driving..
That tick 😢. Have also on mine.. Did you also not think about replacing stock lifters for a longer lift ones? It also apparently increases peak power
bro bought colored bmw badges on a 14 yr old car, he only cares about how it looks

I built it the way I wanted. I'm super happy with the outcome.. Im not a fan of manuals, and I prefer to keep both hands on the wheel.
I be sliding my rwd e90 sometimes I couldn’t do on a xdrive

You have to be tuned
Yes I have a Chaos Calibrations custom tune
N54 or 3Stage Intake for daily driving?

@@btcbmw alright alright alright
Is it worth the trouble?
Yes.. To be honest it was pretty easy..
What do you think about it??
Its fun. But be sure you get it tuned.
Nice
That’s not a normal n52 tick something really wrong with it
