Most of the themes for Jojo protagonists are musically related because the Jojos themselves are descended from the same family. I think Jonathan’s and Joseph’s are the only two that don’t sound the same, but Jotaro, Josuke, Giorno, and Jolyne have very similar themes, that’s why it feels like you’ve heard this melody before. :)

Thats probably because the composer Yuugo Kanno is the same from Jotaro's story onwards while other composers composed themes for Jonathan and Joseph

The reason you feel like you've heard the main melody is cos it was mixed in with the Jojo themes mashup that you reacted to.
There is also a part of the second opening to part 5 that shares a similar riff, leading to cool remix possibilities

Jolyne is Jotaros daughter in the series, so thats why jolynes theme got the same riff as jotaros theme, thats why u know that melody

If I remember correctly Jolyne's theme has a lot of the aspects of Jotaro's theme. It could be that they are very similar due to her being his daughter. And they all of the themes of the main Jojo's will sound similar to an extent since they are part of the same family line, The Jostars. Jonathan Jostar, Joseph Jostar, Jotaro Kujo, Higishikata Josuke, Giorno Giovana, and Jolyne Kujo.

Each time I hear Jolyne's theme/Stone Ocean I just keep on thinking about the specific segment of the Traitor Requiem theme which is the Second Opening of Part 5 since it has a bit of hints or bits and pieces of the Stone Ocean theme. I haven't bothered looking it up but I feel that small piece/part Traitor's Requiem was inspiration in expanding or making a song with said piece in it.
There's a certain part in Traitor's Requiem (op for pt 5) which they might have sampled , the main riff sounds a little similar to wonder woman's theme. Also she is the daughter of jotaro so her theme has inspiration from his theme
Yet, the ending of Traitor's Requem's extended version sounds like Jolyne's theme
traitor requiem was composed by yugo kanno, who also composes the ost for the show, so thats probably why
You are probably hearing the similarity to Wonder Woman's theme from the Modern DC live action films.there are a lot of similarities in how the main rif sounds with the notes used.
Yeah it suits somehow Female heroine Protagonists really well that’s why it suits Wonder Woman so well and this is really familiar to her‘s theme
Not only does her theme is similar to Jotaro's theme but I'm pretty sure there was some main parts that were inspired by Wonder Woman's theme which is funny because both characters are kind of the same and you could see the resemblance but they did so well clashing 2 theme songs with Jolyne's and it's really amazing and badass!
Jolyne has many leitmotifs of other characters in her theme. The most obvious one is the beginning and how it is basically the same as jotaro's themes
The main chorus of the theme (where they sing jojo stone ocean) actually uses the same chord progression as a section from Traitor's Requiem, the second opening for part 5

Jolyne's second theme "string" is amazing. It doesn't have an official release but there are low quality versions on yt.
If you want to watch jojo then make sure not to see the visals of the second opening of part 6. It spoils half of part 6 and some other parts.
Edit 2: You have to listen to the terraria ost. It's very good at immersing the player. For example, the ocean track gives the idea of a calm wide space, and the jungle track makes the player feel like they are in a wet environment. The terraria soundtrack is also quite varied (not as much as jojo). Empress of light's theme, boss 2 and Platera's theme are some of my favourites.
I wouldn't recommend listening to those, though

This is crazy, after MONTHS of seeing some dedicated fans trying to piece this theme together and clean up the audio, I think it was 7 or 8 channels. It's insane to finally have this. Fantastic video and I'm a bit excited to only have to replace this song one more time.
Strangely enough, it’s on ymfahVEVO, the music channel of that dude who does insane challenges in broken games (Skyrim).
Jojo part 3 to the latest has the same composer and the Jojo themes starting from that part to the newest are pretty much rearrangements.
Plus you heard some parts of Jolyne's from that fan mix last time.
I think the deja vu feeling of "Have I heard this before?" comes from the fact that this theme was inspired by the Wonder Woman theme. I used to watch the animated Justice League cartoon growing up, so it felt strangely familiar to me when I first heard it too.
And Jotaro theme too.

It would be incredible if this is where you remembered it from.
But a small part of Jolyne's theme is played in the Jojo opening called "Traitors Reqiuem" at about 3:21.
He's heard it before in a mix video, but to be fair, he even said he recognised it then. I'd say it's probably because of how similar Jojo themes are after part 3, there's no way he's remembering from an OP he heard months ago.

Hey! Just wanna throw this out there. The video description from that video states that the music was ripped directly from the Blu-ray. I was listening to it with my headphones, and I believe there is still some quality loss. So I would recommend waiting for the true official release to give this song the justice it deserves!

You know, I'm very curious how you would react to Caesar's theme [il mare eterno nella mia anima]. It's 100% not what you'd expect out of JoJo, it's a very classical Italian piece but it is so beautiful. I've actually been considering working on it with my voice teacher in college.

The melody that sounds familiar is from Traitor's Requiem, which is one of the JoJo openings, (specifically the second to last one you listened to). Listen to Traitor's Requiem and then Jolyne's theme

Jotaro, Josuke, Giorno and Jolyne’s themes all written by Yugo Kanno so you’ll notice a lot of writing style similarities in that regard. Especially between Parts 5 and 6 music. In my opinion, I feel he borrowed a lot of elements of this theme from Traitor’s Requiem from Part 5.
