I don't own the 992, but I have the 997, 998, 991 and 990V4. All of them are Made In USA, with the exception of my 991 which is Made In England, but I went half down on all of them and they fit perfect (the 997 still runs a little long even at half size down though, which kinda sucks, especially bc of the raised heel). I believe all MiUSA 99X shoes run long, so you made the right call.

The 991, 990v2, and 990v4 fit perfectly at TTS. The 998 is slightly long. The 992 could’ve been half a size down for me. I’ve heard the 992 and 993 fit similar with the 993 being a tiny bit roomier than the 992.

I have a few pairs of 990v5 which fit great for casual wear (edit: aka comfortably loose), 997s (fit a little short, but not in a bad wayh comfortably snug), many 998s which fit my weird feet almost perfectly, and my favorites, the OG 990 (990v1 relative to the series) which fit like soft, buttery suede gloves. All sz 11, could prbly stand to go +0.5 on the 997s.

New Balance's are great for comfort and quality. These definitely aren't for everyone, but as an owner of a pair of 990s I could very much see me getting these.

These do run big and run long. I’m a 8.5 US in the 990v5 but the 992 in the same size still have some allowance at the toe. You can get away half size down on this.
Looks like you got a good pair, I had to send 4 pairs back as the glue stains near the clear midsole panel was really bad and all on the suede. I gave up getting a pair in the end.
Your channel should have more subs cuz ur a great reviewer. U get right to the point and ur not always saying “it’s a cool shoe” or “it’s amazing” like other reviewers.

I got a question for you Sean ... so I ordered a pair of 992TAN’s from NB website the shoes arrived this morning & overall the craftsmanship is top notch up I only have one gripe ( & I see your pairs have it too) on the lateral side pause @ 2:44 there is glue stains & on my pair I have glue stains in the exact same spot In both shoes ... is this common with the 992 model ? I have the 990v5 , 997s , 996, 1300 all Made in USA pairs & I’ve never seen that before on any of those models...
If I usually go down a half size in 998's, wo6uld you suggest going down a half in these? I do stay TTS in 990v4's though. Great video, thanks for info.
