P&S Rags to Riches is my go-to microfiber towel cleaner. I wash in cold or cool water and dry them on the delicate cycle. I store them in Sterilite bins and have separate bins for them once they are used and wash them at the end of the day
Good video, actually showed my wife this clip because she washes my microfibre towels for me when I clean her car and mine and guess what, she has taken your advice on cleaning my towels. 😀👊🏻🇦🇺
Great content. I enjoyed watching both the towel selection video and this video. My late Dad used a chamois to dry his car and that is what used for years, until super absorbent rags were invented 20+ years ago. Nowadays I have a ceramic coated car and wash it regularly. I try to dry with an electric blower and then drying towels. That seems to be the progression that DIY folks are doing at home. I just threw away my microfiber towels that I used with ceramic coating.
I tend to buy lower-cost microfibers that I will only use once on the polishing/waxing side of things, anything that touches paint. I hand wash & dry and use them again, but never to polish paint. They are used on progressively dirtier parts of the car like interior, door openings, engine bay, wheels & eventually final use like oil change rags.
Great video man!
I've really been looking forward to these microfiber towel videos. Thanks as always for sharing! 💙

😂I didn’t even know there was a way to maintain them. Thx for this
never heard of cutting sawdust? as well as 60-75 towels. Yvan would be laughing his head off
I have a question, can I get great washing result if I wash my towels at a local laundromat? I don’t have my personal washing machine.

Something is out of spec here - Single use policy for interior towels? 50-75 total towels per car? Unreal.
Within spec.
Not silly at all, thank you!
Wow! We always learn so much! Should I wash my mitts with my microfiber drying towels? Thanks for your amazing content!
I do every time
Added this one and the previous episode on towels to my favorites. Thanks Coleton!
My car is covered in microfiber fuzz after the car wash this morning, perfect timing. Lol
is their any other option than rag to riches . not available in most countries
What options do you have when you search “microfiber detergent?”
Excellent video, a little OCD when taking care of paint is a good thing!

Cheap rags don’t belong on paint!
@@OutofSpecDetailing on the old cars I own? The cars you work on, I would definitely buy some better quality microfibers.
Ive never heard the word “absolutely “ more times in my entire life
Absolutely
So… just throw them away is what I got out of this video. Everything else is a gimmick
