I think my favorite story of "Locker Room Antics" from the 49ers was during the 85 Season. Joe Montana recalled in his book "Audibles" how the cocaine rumors were dogging him through the first part of the season and he challenged the press to prove it-there were no takers but Joe was really bothered by it. To loosen him up the guys showed no mercy! Usually, the blackboard in the meeting room was reserved for drawing little ghosts to get on Fred Soloman's nerves or Catfish in honor of Roger Craig(Niner fans know wtf I mean) but on one occasion someone took a running story at the time of Rock Hudson's lover suing the star for giving him aids out and inserting a photo of Montana and pasting it for everyone to see.!!! Even Joe had to laugh!!

Lott played opposite Walsh when he was in college. I'm sure there was necer any love lost over that. Lott was probably thinking, Bill Walsh coached at Stanford, what does he know? 🤣🤣🤣
