In the 80s - I think Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk with force perspective shots and practical effects to make him appear more like the size of Hulk in the comics would’ve been better suited. Where as in the 90s - I’d see them making an animatronic Hulk/mixed with some CGI.
@@Dcuniverse60yes but CGI can also be a crutch for filmmakers (especially today) if something doesn’t work practically - “Oh well, CGI it🤷♂️”. CGI works better when you wanna make something on a bigger, grander, epic scale (i.e. Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc.) where as practical effects work better for actors to interact with and make you feel like what the actor is looking at or reacting to is actually there and not just an empty space with a piece of tape.
Damn this looks great. Especially the Abomination design. He has fish in him and also becomes monstrous, he literally becomes an abomination. Get Rob Bottin to work right now!
I like you noticed that fish detail, also funny you mention Rob Bottin cause I used his work, and "The Thing" in particular when creating the images for Blonsky/Abomination. Nice pick ups.
@@randomrecipes5007 yea It really has that Bottin vibe. I love how there's a tangible reason for Abomination being given the look of a fish-creature with a possible gamma-iradiated fish tank. Makes all kind of sense.
Loved it! You really nailed the look of General Ross, Betty Ross, Samuel Sterns, and most importantly, the Hulk. The Hulk looks like a ridiculously jacked mass monster bodybuilder from the 80's and it totally works!!! The music rocks! My only suggestion it could be improved is using a bodybuilder base for abomination and keeping the guy playing Samuel Sterns as the Leader, just manipulate the top part of his head. Oh, and recast a smaller guy as Banner. Otherwise, really impressive!
Ronald Lee Ermey as Thunderbolt Ross would’ve been incredible as Red Hulk I mean this Sci-if horror 80s Incredible Hulk would been incredible if it was made and they would’ve used Practical Effects instead cgi that would’ve been awesome and amazing.
A Hulk Noir Smash Monster Mash done like Rocky Horror Picture Show with a bit of Thriller thrown in? The Leader's evolution is like Mingon in the old Dan Dare comics. Would like to see a silent movie version of this done like one of those silent black-and-white horror movies similar to Lorn Chaine's senor the Man with a man of a Thousand Faces. The Savage Hulk (grey) and set 1920s.
lol I guess I kind of see it, I used Bill Bixby, Ferrigno, and a Friends face to capture that image.. I see all 3 heavily. That's the funny thing with this tech, it grabs from anywhere, you can find mixtures of faces of actors in every image.. thanks for watchin.
