The Batman live-action movies are great, but they're all locked in the present, and seem to contain the same plot (the villains try to kill Batman) with notable exceptions. There's not even one set in a different time period. The comics and animated movies have sent Batman everywhere -- the Victorian era, medieval Japan, the future, etc. I'd like to see at least one live-action film tackle that challenge. Something else I'd like to see is a crossover between DC and Marvel. The comics did it many times (my favorite would be the second Superman/Spider-man team-up). That's probably not likely to happen in live-action or animation for a long time, but I'd sure like to see it when it does. Now that both DC and Marvel are exploring multiple universes, you'd think there's at least one universe where both Superman and Spider-Man coexist. Anyway, what we see in this video would be a pretty cool alternate take on Batman.

Maybe the egotist film makers need to cool it with so-called "re-imagined" versions and the "blow up cities and/or the world " storylines. THIS gave me serious chills.
