Gleaner S98 Combines Straight Cutting Canola Manitoba 2021 09 01

In this video, we take a look at two Gleaner S98 Combines straight cutting canola. More and more canola is being straight cut as opposed to being swathed first and then picked up with a pickup header.
The one combine is using the regular 35' Draper header, while the other unit is demoing a new HoneyBee 236 36' AirFlex Draper header.
The two new 40' HoneyBee AirFlex drapers are ordered but have not arrived as yet.

If Gleaner had a dealer network half as good as deere there would no longer be any deere combines.

They have some good dealers but too few and too far between

Were you happy with the performance of the s98 in canola. Here in Australia no one can really tell me if they will harvest canola ok. We have a good dealer close by with 2 used s98 gleaners and thinking they might be a good option.

Work well in canola. Settings are key. Virtually nothing out the back
