A couple weeks ago, I set out on a mission to show that almost anybody can catch fish from shore. Fishing is probably the easiest hobby anyone can get into and I would like to encourage everyone to at least try it! Get in to the outdoors and away from the screens!
On this episode, I had to the beautiful Macqueripe Bay in north Trinidad to some relaxing shoreline fishing. The goal of this trip was to catch one or two fish to cook! Simple as that. Just some easy fishing that anyone can do!
I was extra lucky on this day, as the bay was literally filled with bait and with that there are always some hungry fish waiting to feed on them. Armed with only the KoS M Jigs, I managed to land a couple nice ones. Cleaned them right there on the rocks and took them home to cook!
I also got some really nice drone shots of the bay in this video.

The real fishing spot in Macquripe is on the inside point on your right just over the hill , 15 min walk, it is a master night rock also, tarpon, plumhead, sockoi or bachine, almost anything, and the types comes in in a batch, when you hitting them, Joshua bait wins, my son and I made some rods talk on that rock on many occasions. it's a sweet spot, on the rising and high tide.
Nice man...Not much of a rock fisherman...So never really explored the area...Will have to give it a try sometime! Appreciate it! Can only imagine some of the action you experienced there!

i tried crossing with rope and fell off landed in the water thankfully. its not easy good thing you decided not to take the chance! but i will admit once i got across i got a huge snatch from a Crevalle on my yuzori topknock stay safe!

I saw some of those fishes that uncle showed you on his phone, the last time I took a bath at macqueripe. A couple of them were swimming with the us.
Yes they are in big schools...They are mullet...Plentiful in the bay...

You can get them at most of the leading tackle shops in Trinidad...Should be restocking all of them by the end of this month!
