Lovely footage and narrative. One concern though: shouldn't PPE be used while spraying the crops? Maybe constant exposure to the chemicals without PPE will affect longterm health? Do be safe!

Oh, what a semblance! It looks like a South Indian vegetable garden. I love the long fleshy brinjals. While spraying , please wear a mask to cover your mouth and nose, also lunettes for you eyes. I love to visit your place to see how you grow quality vegetables. May God bless you abundantly. You may not earn millions but there is the true pride and job satisfaction. God want us sweat on the earth and you do it, God bless you, my brothers.

My dad used to grow tomatoes when we lived in Trinidad. He had his own business also..he got stabbed one day while going to do deliveries. Our house got robbed twice. So sad.. So we moved and now live in Canada. I still miss Trini.

Farmers need to be seen and heard. Beautiful well kept garden with healthy produce. Some politicians should volunteer a day or two for the experience. The young farmer is so cheerful and his devotion to his farmland is quite evident.

Big up farmers all over the world, my dad was a farmer. I enjoyed going to our lands as a kid, I used to dig dasheen, sweet potato 🍠 pick calloo etc. I miss my dad and mom.

Hi, Dear, Your video has brought back to me many wonderful memories of Trinidad. As a child I remember how my parents did the vegetable garden and produced such fantastic produce , we were almost self-sufficient It has inspired me to go out and do some gardening but living in London is not so pleasant this time of the year (winter) Sensational musical background I will love to have a copy of that enchanting recording. When I tell people from Trinidad, they don't believe me but my love for Trinidad is well embedded in me. I was born in Trinidad but made in the UK. Got to get back soon for some doubles and roti, flight permitting and we can see the back this horrible Covid 19 God Bless, Take care and Thank you

The average farmer is in a constant state of stress. When there's not enough rain, they stress. There is no reliability in their job. Their next paycheck depends on the weather, the economy and luck. Saving for retirement is almost impossible, and many never retire. The average consumer would be shocked at how little a farmer makes, as middle men suck up most of the profits. Farmers work from sun up to sun down just to break even, and they do it with their head held high.
Farming is the art of feeding people who think you're trying to kill them for minimum wages.
A farmer isn't working to just support his family. He works to feed the world 💚#thankafarmer

I remember when i used to go San Fernando boys rc and the teach used to tell us in std2 that don't become a fisherman or sell in the market and i told her that if there ain't either she or nobody will be able to eat, and when i heard he said he gain independence besides that someone have to do the job i have big respect for these people
