First time watching your channel. I watched this vid because you are from T&T. Been to your country 3 times for work. Love the ppl and the food too. The other meat that you ate with the jerked chicken and pork was the jerk sausage, made from the offal of the pig.

I'm alway in the virgin Islands and you will not believe me if i tell you that I have two Ackee trees in my back yard. I'm from Barbados and I love Ackee very much.I have a lot of Jamaicans friends when I have Ackee I cooked up a lot.of Ackee and saltfish and bake.And provisions.Thanks for sharing your experiences in Jamaica. Vedesh i hope some company in Jamaica invite you back wish Kevin was with you boy and always a joy bringing us along with you next time you're going to another Caribbean island research wats there favorite food because some of them is similar to Trinidad food like the fry dumplings which is like fry bakes and can't belive you never had oxtails hope you took home some acke for Leah to try to see if she would like it .
The plantain would not be sweet because tostones are made with green plantains..that is why it gets so crunchy. I can see you enjoyed Jamaican food. I love their food especially jerk.
Festival ( similar to the fried dumpling ) , usually eaten with fried fish …what about the Jamaican beef patty? , you had salt fish fritters ( similar to Accra )

fry dumpling is essentially fry bake but trinis make it thin and hollow and jamaica and the other islands make it more dense and tighter
