I've been on the A320 family a long time ago, and the A321 a few years ago since they are harder to find now, as they are being outnumbered by the new A220s and 737 MAX family of aircraft. I honestly got to say that these are so much more comfortable with its cloth seats rather than the new slimmer leather ones with less padding. I also miss the nostalgic buzzsaw on those CFM-56s as well, as I am getting extremely bored of those geared turbofan engines and the LEAP 1B on the newer narrowbody fleet. Whenever I get the chance, I try my best to get on the A320 CEOS.
Hope AC keeps these seat upholsteries in their A320s. Nice review. The A220s are tops; the 2-3 seating beats narrow-body planes, with abundant overhead bin space.
The MAX is nice since it is so new, but the A320 seats are by far the best seat in economy. The blue cloth seats are super comfortable, and the entertainment system is better than none. Check out their Chicken wraps to buy on board. Very good.
flew on the 737 Max from Toronto to San Diego a few years back, the updated cabin and ife were really cool however I felt that the slim seats got uncomfortable after sitting in it for almost 5 hours i kept having to shift around. I will be flying the same route but on an a320 this time so I'm eager to see how the comfort is different.
I'll be on a Rouge A319 a A220, a A320 and a Q400 with Air Canada next month in November. I'm so excited. I'm flying out of Thunder Bay first with AC Rouge.
I usually avoid these A320s given the state of the cabin interior. However, good news is that AC is taking delivery of a new fleet of A321 Neos starting 2024, most importantly with lieflat seats in J similar to JetBlue’s setup. The Neos and A220s will replace the current A320s.
The A320 CEO is an amazing airplane. In my opinion way better than the NEO variants. This is also not an old plane. C-FKPT was built in 1994, and received a new paint job. I’m really happy these planes are operating, and they will stick around in the future with Air Canada Jetz.
I'm booked on one of their A319s in economy preferred next month and I'm really excited! I'll also be excited to compare it with my flight before it on an AC MAX 8.
Enjoy the A319! It’s the very last one in their fleet still in service. And yeah just as a heads up, you’ll notice a MASSIVE difference between that and the MAX haha. I’ve yet to fly it, but I’d take this over their A220
Knowing this channel is aviation-oriented,it would be appreciated if you could tell us more about your cruise--where did you go? The Caribbean or Mexico doesn't seem realistic due to geography. Interesting that Canada still requires face masks even though the US mandate was dropped some months ago. Wish more countries participated in the US preclearance program--weather in San Diego was the complete opposite of Vancouver--when you finish with US customs and enter through those glazed glass doors, are you essentially considered to be on US soil?
Airline operating older A320s? Easy - my country's own LIFT Airline. Brand new (Dec 2020), operating the 3 oldest A320s still in active service. Their parent company also leases A320s and - wait for it - ex-Emirates A340-500s, if you ever wanted any.
@@ITripReport thanks for the update. Hoping AC makes a formal annoucement soon, esp with their Q3 earnings coming out Friday. To me it does not look good flying such an outdated product around in North America, with the increased competition and their products.
These aircraft are so nostalgic to me. I started flying right when this planes were being introduced with this interior.

I feel like I'm right there with you onboard it just feels so relaxing traveling by plane I sure wish I was there

Reaaally good and detailed review. Thank you!
ZS-GAL is 32 years old and is currently flying for lift as the oldest a320 in service.
Yup, these cloth seats looks INCREDIBLY comfy.

I like how you can hear the engine buzzing through the radio 7:33
Bro I been waiting for awhile
San Diego is where I am based since I joined the Navy and NICE VIDEO @iTripReport
I luv the "leaf" on these planes!
Your service director flew me to Vancouver out of Calgary back in Nov of 2019

Excellent trip report Emil!😸
This aircraft is now currently being fitted for use by jetz much like c-fkoj
yep kinda disapointed in all my AC 320 flying i never got on the 320 that is also a 330 😂 MSN that is.

I already know it's a big difference since I've flown both on AC before already! I do want to try the A220 as well.
My only guess would be a British airways a320, for one close to 30 years old.
AF/LH all three Euros have major A320 retro fleet
6:53- still c: lufthansa, british airways, & i think philippine airlines still using the A320-200
5:30 Marriot Bonvoy ad?
Those seats look so 1990's!
Hello! Latam Brazil has A320 PR-MAG with 20 years old.
Can you do a report on the flight from STL to Frankfurt or Frankfurt to STL?

Looks like a Canadian version of Delta.. could be the other way around as well. 😅
Very nice flight ✈️

Might be flying them soon! I’m very curious about them overall so this is gonna be exciting
6:59 Delta, Lufthansa and Balcan Bulgaria
only Delta of those 3 have older and quite a few at that. LH has one thats close but still 9 months newer
Air Canada needs a revamp. It used to be best in North America but certainly not anymore.
Has AC finished retrofitting all their A330s?
No :(
@@johnwellington5754 the last one is undergoing the referb currently in hong kong
@@aselwyn1 I hope you're right.
Ads during pushback? What in the Ryanair is that crap?!?!
AC has done that since 2006,... I remember hearing crown royal ads, BMW ect... since they brought the IFE system
Does anyone know if AC will ever refurbish their A321 and express fleets?
Rumor has it the A321s will get refurbished to their current domestic standard cabin, as for the express fleet, I've yet to hear anything.
@@ITripReport I'm praying that they will, love the seats as well but LAX-YYZ or ORD-YVR on A321 with old seats makes AC look like a backwards airline,

Wish it was an A220 thats a new one :(
