Thank you for another great video: 👍👏👌! I am not sure how this rather funky watch was put together. The movement, dial and hands look like NOS (no-one has ever touched them), but the case was heavily abused - by the owner and the "polisher" - so it is a real puzzle. Real, though 🤪?

Having owned one of these since the early 70s I always find it interesting when one comes up for a service and refinishing of the case. Due to water damage mine went back to Omega to see about repairing the damage. I’d been pretty rough on it and Omega ended up replacing the entire movement, hands, dial, crystal, back, crown and pushers!

excellent work, excellent restoration of the case and crystal, but... honestly I would not have touched the caseback, or just treated it with very fine sandpaper which does not penetrate the line of the design, attenuating it.
