Hello, I'm new here. I can't wait to start working on some of these tutorials. I love the fact you do all these adorable items with a worsted 4 weight and a hook that's not tiny!💜💜💜 Your tutorials are done at a good speed and you show very clearly the stitches. Thank you! I'm new to amigurumi and these really help 😍
Awww 🥰 Thank you so much! I’m glad you are enjoying them ! I try and use the biggest hook I can get away with, lol. I can’t comfortably go any smaller than a 3.75. 😉
Awwww 🥰 thanks Kari! I hope you don’t out grow me, lol. The things I’ve seen you make using some of my patterns as a base are amazing!!! You’ve definitely got a talent for this, and I love seeing all the cool things you come up with! ❤️😊❤️
I have crocheted ever since I was a little girl but never tried to crochet toys. I was always so intimidated until now. I watched your video once, watched it a 2nd time to write down the steps, and watched it a 3rd time to follow along with you and instructions I wrote down. You have done an amazing job. I am now at the ears and I’m hoping as I follow your steps to shape the face, my bunny will look similar to yours. I’m so excited! Thank you so much for your pattern and your very patient teaching video!
Just wanted to thank you for keeping my hands busy! I have very serious chronic illnesses and also have severe neuropathy in my feet which is now starting very quickly in my hands. this year marks 50 years since I started crocheting, and am homebound. I have so far made a few peeps for my grand daughter with carrots, a basket, Jack Skellington for my youngest grandson, starting a Michael Myers for my granddaughter, and a couple of these adorable bunnys for some terminal children at the children's hospital we raise funds for every year. Sorry this is so long, I just wanted you to know I appreciate all you do, you do more than you know! God bless!
Awwwww 🥰 thanks! I’m so glad you are enjoying crocheting with me! And what a sweet and special thing you are doing with the bunnies. Lots of love to you and yours ❤️😊❤️
You are so welcome! 🥰 i really love this one too! It was so hard to wait till all his little accessories were uploaded first , lol. Glad you like him! 😊
Thank you so much for the brilliant way you explain everything, I always know that when I follow any of your videos, it is going to turn out lovely, I am quite new to crochet and you are helping me so much. Thanks again
I’ve made 3 of your bunnies so far. RUclips taught me how to crochet almost a year ago. I wasn’t sure of myself till I found your videos. I get giddy when I see a new video pop up from you!!!
Awwwwww 🥰 I’m so glad you are enjoying them and have found confidence crocheting with me! That’s so awesome to hear! Glad you liked the bunnies, and hopefully I’ll see ya in another one. ❤️😊❤️
Great video. Love crocheting this bunny with you. Love the no-sew body. I learned a lot of new ways to crochet and add on limbs.. Looking forward to crocheting with you again... I see about 4 I want to do for my teen grandkids.. Thank you 8)

Wow Mrs Rhonda, you have crocheting up a storm.....I love your vids.....you should create a pattern book I would def buy it❤😊.....looking forward to making these new items❤😊
Awwww🥰 thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying them. It’s funny you say that, I’ve never made a pdf and I just spent the last three or four weeks teaching myself to make a spread sheet. “Not fun” lol. But now that I have the basics down, maybe one day I’ll try pdf’s. 😊

Awww! Thankyou! 🥰 I’ve seen quite a few of them done in the velvet yarn and they turn out gorgeous. I really want to try that retro velvet yarn someday but it’s really expensive on Canadian Amazon for some reason.
I’m so excited to have found this tutorial I’m definitely gonna purchase what I need and I plan to make one with my granddaughter she’ll be making hers we’re both beginners 😁
I love this pattern! It is so cute 😍I was wondering if you have a pattern for a vintage rabbit kinda like the velveteen rabbit. I am unable to find one as I am a visual learner and unable to read patterns yet.
Thanks so much 🥰 once I switched my original pattern to a more no sew pattern, I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Unless it’s absolutely necessary for the outcome. I’m not a fan of the sewing either 😉🥰
Rhonda, your bunny is so cute! I like the way you do your knots. I'm going to have to try that. Thank you for doing this video I'm definitely going to give your bunny a try. I like the fact that you sew the arms and legs in. I have a very hard time sewing on arms and legs. Have a great night.
You are so welcome! It’s an only sewing trick I learned because sometimes the knot moved when you tightened the thread. I just started doing that over the last couple of months when I tied a loop to one of my hearts and the knot slit about a centimetre up the yarn. Good luck on your bunny if you make one!!! ❤️😊❤️
Your video is fine, though a little long. You probably could have done a lot of it off camera. Your instructions are very easy to follow and very good. So cute. Can't wait to try this.
Haha, yes I know. Every time I go to do the repeat rows in the head and body, or all the finishing sewing/embroidery I feel like cheating and skipping that part, or fast forwarding it in editing. But so many people have enjoyed that part, I keep it all in, and let the viewer choose to fast forward or skip. The length of the video probably turns a lot of people off, but I’ve learned to be ok with that. Lol I actually almost did a test for the bunny and re edited it so I fast forward after each set of instructions. And all the more monotonous parts. So there’s a fast version and a slow version But I just couldn’t. . Maybe in the future. 👍😊❤️
Wow! I watched the whole video, even though I don’t do these kinds of projects. You’re amazing to show us every step of the way! 3 1/2 hours-double wow! ❤❤😂❤❤
Hi there, I am new to your channel and WOW you are amazing!!! Very creative and love your tutorials, fantastic and easy to follow. I am a pretty new crocheter, probably less than a year, love making little critters. I am going to start the elephant. I love plush yarn and my question is always what size hook, unless the instructor gives the size. I know you are using worsted weight yarn and the needle size, what is your suggested size hook with a plush #5 or #6 yarn??? And thank you for your expertise instruction, can't wait to start.
Awwww, thank you so much! 🥰 I’m still undecided myself as to witch size hook I like for the plush yarn. I’m still switching between a #5 and #6 but I find as I’ve become more comfortable with that yarn I tend to reach for the #5 or #5.5 more often now. My thing is more the coning at the top or the oblong shape instead of circular. So if that happens with your plush crochet, skip the first head row, and eliminate one repeat row on the head. Good luck! I’ve seen a few different ones done in plush yarn and they are turning out amazing. ❤️😊❤️
😊😊you are the best 👏🏾👏🏾I will definitely be making this for my baby basket..I have to go get stuffing I have to catch up lol I’m 3 behind😂thank you so much
Thanks for sharing yet another brillant tutorial. So we'll explained in detail. I look forward to every tutorial you bring out. I've a quick query that I was wondering if your able to answer. I'm a left handed crochet and so when I do the legs and arms sometimes I feel I'm not in the right place always tieing off. As I'm new enough to this type of projects I'd appreciate if you had any tips to help. Thankyou
Ya I wonder about that too. When you making the actual arms and legs, you want your sc to end opposite of the thumbs, so after you sc across the tail ends directly above the thumbs. For the leg you want to end the sc on the side of the leg so the toe is up. Attaching the arms should work out since I space them out evenly. 6sc in the back and front. And 3sc on each side for the arms. When you do the legs, you want space for 12sc in the front, and 12 in the back. (Legs in front. I’m just about to start videoing the leprechaun, I stopped showing how to center the legs a bit ago cause they always work out. But when I do it on the leprechaun one I’ll mark it out so you can adjust your first section and last section of sc if you need to 👍😊 so glad you are enjoying crocheting with me, I tried watching a left handed video once to see if I could do anything to help a left handed crocheter with a right handed pattern, and I was so lost watching it, so you are doing absolutely amazing following mine!!!!! ❤️😊❤️
Ah thankyou for all that help and I'd appreciate that showing placements. I totally understand bow hard it is working it out from a left perspective, I've tried to show my daughter to do a few stitches right handed way and it feels impossible😂 thanks for the reply❤
@@ginamcdonnell2677 the leprechaun shows leg placement. But I think I might of messed up my explanation. I deleted and redid that row so many times, I forget what I said, lol.
Hi Rhonda, I love your crochet-along patterns just completed my hot pink bunny for my granddaughter and she was asking me for a gollywog, unsure how to approach this. Could you help in this department my grandson would like a shark do you have a no sew for these? I love your work.
You might be able to follow my standing gingerbread man pattern. And then color change for clothes, and decide if you need to add rows to the arms and legs for length. I haven’t figured out a shark yet. 🥰 CROCHET GINGERBREAD MAN COOKIE BASE & PARTS - CHOOSE YOUR OWN GINGY - CLASSIC - SHREK - KRAMPUS ruclips.net/video/zmjtulkKw6w/видео.html
Hi Rhonda! My youngest granddaughter wants me to crochet her a Cinnamon Roll bunny, but i cant find a descent tutorial in a mid size bunny. Do you think i could change up this bunny to look like cinnamon roll? And if i used a thicker yarn and larger hook, would this pattern work? Oh yeah, the grandkids are keeping me busy.
I’m not sure what your vision for the cinnamon roll is. But it will for sure work out with a larger hook and yarn. If you make it, I’d love to see what you ended up doing. Here my Facebook craft page link for sharing. facebook.com/ARtDesignsandCrafts?mibextid=LQQJ4d
Hello I am new to your channel and loving the create along videos. Sending absolute ❤️❤️❤️ cause your sew along clips help me so much. You explain on some stitches that I find a bit tricky but with your videos, what I’ve watched have been so clear that I don’t feel so silly. I’m keen on doing your bunny but have not been able to find the written instruction. I tick completed rows when I’m working on WWP / WP (did I get that right Written Working Projects or is it just Working Projects? Still learning lingo). Almost forgot to say sending love from AUS ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos. I only have the pattern written through out the video for now. I’ve never used those abbreviations, so you just taught me something new! 😊 sending you lotsa love back from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you for letting me know ❤. TBH I started writing & watching ea row, so I can do the bunny crochet along whole along with you. Once I’ve written it down I’m so excited to do this pattern with you. With my disability it will take me way more than your 3 1/2hrs but with your video being so clear on instructions I won’t muck it up Thank you so much for sharing this pattern 🤗❤️😀
@@marnslpg3145 never worry about how long it takes you. Relax and enjoy it, it’s no fun if it starts feeling like a job. Sometimes I’ll just do the arms or legs, then nothing else for days. Or wait a week to add hair or sew things on. Lol ❤️😊❤️
I love the video channel you have it is great following along. You love if you would share the brand of yarn you use in making your project. I really would appreciate to know what you used making the chocolate bunny. I always seem to get the yarn wrong when making stuffed animals.
This is a great idea, and not the first time I’ve heard it. I keep forgetting to mention it though. I’ve started putting the yarn weight/hook size and eye size in the description cause a lot of people seemed to miss it. Maybe I could start adding the yarn type and color there too. For now, I have always used red heart, and bernat only. The bunny color is Aran Bernat #4 for the white one, and dark heather bernat #4 for the brown one. I believe the pink is called rose in the same yarn.
For me it’s preference, I’m not quick at the invisible decrease, but it is the best way to do it if you find the regular decrease looks like it leaves a hole that the stuffing shows through. It gives you a nicer look too. Especially for closing. 😊
Hi! I am a doctor by profession. I very very very much love to chrochet. I would be doing soon these but tell me the yarn types. Are those acrylics or pure cotton thread or blends? Please let me know.
Lol, I have that same problem. Sometimes I wait for days trying to decide on a color. Hope you enjoy making your bunny, and maybe you’ll get inspired by a color for your elephant. 🥰
I really loved your easy and beautiful tutorial. I will make one of these, and perhaps from every model you made. New Subscribe to your channel. I really hope to see you make tutorial for anime and game characters. I am sure it will be wonderful.
You should be able to, I’ve seen this same base pattern in the plush for the reindeer, gingerbread man, baphomat, valentines devil, Frankenstein, and I’ve done the snowman myself. (If you go to my actual channel page and click on the community tab, there is a photo of the snowman in #6 bernat blanket yarn) you may need to skip row one and start with row two if you get the cone shape at the start. Otherwise it should work! 👍❤️😊
If you can find someone local that crochets. (Through craft fairs, or a buy and sell page) you can send them the link, and I’m sure they’d be happy to commission one for you 🥰
It should be what I have written. Sometimes I say the wrong thing but fix it in editing if I catch it. If it’s in yellow I caught it. It should go sc , hdc, dc around the top, hdc, sc. the amount will vary per row. Hope that helps 😊
RUclips automatically translates in the closed caption settings, but sometimes it takes a few days for it to show up on new ones. Hope it shows soon! ❤️😊❤️
Ugh I know. It would definitely make things easier but I decided a while ago to keep doing them this way for those that needed it. And those that don’t could adjust the way they watched. I do plan on trying a different style with options for both ways, but every time I get started in editing I change my mind, lol. Someday 🥰

Bunny ❤terrific 💯😁 🐰🐇
Awww thanks 🥰
You are just EXCELLENT
Awww, 🥰 thanx so much! 😊
Hi I i am from Belgium but understand it wooww u did it great 👍 ❤
Aww 🥰 that’s awesome!! I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😊
@rhondadawnbutler thankyou for all your help. Appreciate it so much. I've just started the leprechaun today hopefully it will all go well😀
@@ginamcdonnell2677 your probably done it by now, hope it helped?
Hi Rhonda, I love your crochet-along patterns just completed my hot pink bunny for my granddaughter and she was asking me for a gollywog, unsure how to approach this. Could you help in this department my grandson would like a shark do you have a no sew for these? I love your work.
You might be able to follow my standing gingerbread man pattern. And then color change for clothes, and decide if you need to add rows to the arms and legs for length. I haven’t figured out a shark yet. 🥰 CROCHET GINGERBREAD MAN COOKIE BASE & PARTS - CHOOSE YOUR OWN GINGY - CLASSIC - SHREK - KRAMPUS

Oh he's so cute, going to make him now.
Thank you! 🥰 hope you enjoy making them 😊
Thank you, he’s so cute ❤
Awwww 🥰 your welcome! Glad you like it 😊
Thank you for the pattern. Could you please let me know why brand of yarn you are using. Thank you
Glad you like it! I use bernat premium or super saver. And occasionally red heart super value, all #4 medium weight in a 7 ounce ball. 😊
Soon cute❤
Thankyou! ❤️
With my disability it will take me way more than your 3 1/2hrs but with your video being so clear on instructions I won’t muck it up
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern 🤗❤️😀
@@marnslpg3145 never worry about how long it takes you. Relax and enjoy it, it’s no fun if it starts feeling like a job. Sometimes I’ll just do the arms or legs, then nothing else for days. Or wait a week to add hair or sew things on. Lol
❤️😊❤️
Does this pattern work with plush yarn?
Yes, I have seen a few done in plush yarn. You may have to skip row one of the head if it makes a cone shape. 🥰
I have a question…I noticed you do the decreases two different ways. When is it best to use either of these ways or is it always just a preference?
For me it’s preference, I’m not quick at the invisible decrease, but it is the best way to do it if you find the regular decrease looks like it leaves a hole that the stuffing shows through. It gives you a nicer look too. Especially for closing. 😊

Hi! I am a doctor by profession. I very very very much love to chrochet. I would be doing soon these but tell me the yarn types. Are those acrylics or pure cotton thread or blends? Please let me know.
Hello! 🥰 I use acrylic #4 red heart or Bernat. Lately I enjoy using Bernat the most. 😊
What row do you put the eyes on?
Around row 32 we put the eyes on. They go between rows 10-11
I love this and am making her now: Thank you Rhonda
Gonna make this because I couldn't decide what color to use for the secondary color of the pink elephant I was gonna make.
Lol, I have that same problem. Sometimes I wait for days trying to decide on a color. Hope you enjoy making your bunny, and maybe you’ll get inspired by a color for your elephant. 🥰
Your work are so good❤ from Antigua thank you I do crochet pattern to m b love ch

I really loved your easy and beautiful tutorial. I will make one of these, and perhaps from every model you made. New Subscribe to your channel. I really hope to see you make tutorial for anime and game characters. I am sure it will be wonderful.
Can you do this as a plushy?
You should be able to, I’ve seen this same base pattern in the plush for the reindeer, gingerbread man, baphomat, valentines devil, Frankenstein, and I’ve done the snowman myself. (If you go to my actual channel page and click on the community tab, there is a photo of the snowman in #6 bernat blanket yarn) you may need to skip row one and start with row two if you get the cone shape at the start. Otherwise it should work! 👍❤️😊

On row 1 of the inside ear of bunny you have written 6 hdc but you say 6 dc
It should be what I have written. Sometimes I say the wrong thing but fix it in editing if I catch it. If it’s in yellow I caught it. It should go sc , hdc, dc around the top, hdc, sc. the amount will vary per row. Hope that helps 😊

Love your work. The only thing is your counting. Why count single crochet rows. All of them. Videos would be a lot shorter
Ugh I know. It would definitely make things easier but I decided a while ago to keep doing them this way for those that needed it. And those that don’t could adjust the way they watched. I do plan on trying a different style with options for both ways, but every time I get started in editing I change my mind, lol. Someday 🥰
"No sew"??? Lol
The head, arms, body, and legs are no sew. The mouth and ears need to be sewn on. 😊
