Hey, first i would like to say amazing job, you should definitely put this on lego ideas, for i missed the first version when it came out, and refuse to pay scalper price for it. Two, why haven't you've ever made the ecto 1a. It's my favorite version of the car, and when i saw the original one, i got super excited for the 1a, but it never came. You out of all people could make it really nice, and hopefully you get back to it one day. Amazing job, looks 1000 times better than anything i could have constructed, you are an outstanding builder. Thanks for the free instructions as well.
Love this, I had the original one you designed back in 2014 when I was 12 but I don’t have it anymore since I moved out and across the country on my own but I will be replacing it so it can fit my firehouse, love the update, one thing is maybe swap the antenna for the silver hose they have so it arches over the roof like in the movies somehow, either way will be buying the parts and building
Amazing build! The Fast and the Furious and 007 Speed Champions sets have me wanting more minifigure scale movie vehicles to add to the collection, and i'm tempted to order the parts and make this Ecto-1, but i'm also hopeful LEGO will release an official one of this and the Delorean since they have the licensing already.
Do you have another video of you building this because I love to make it which I have two sets of the Ecto 1s and I wonder I could try combine them to make this
I mention in the video that I'd have to sacrifice something to fit it in, as it stands the body would be too weak if I added the seat, so either the front doors would have to close or I'd have to lose some other features to pull it off
don't take this personal i just need to vent and you are the only one who had any "help" with it (only cause i got the instructions from you) i waisted two colored ink cartages after my printer failed to print the instructions (and i stopped it more then once cause i planned to make it using the digital ones) why black for a background i get that most of the build is white i just had a morning trying to get my printer to stop printing the instructions at 4 in the morning i dont have anything personal against you but i just needed to vent my anger

I've always loved the original set, but this is a MAJOR upgrade! The doors stood out the most to me

Your builds are fantastic, could you make instructions for the smaller stay puft? Or even just for the head and bib

5:42 Lego actually did that for lego Mack's team truck and it turned out to look ugly.
Yeah I used to have some sets in the 80s/90s that did that, the don't do it anymore though
