Spitbrix, I also sended you e-mail almost a Year ago about a huge error on LEGO Ninjago box art from crystallised: on the Ultra Golden Dragon you can see 3 vengestone Warriors with the translucent dark Pink Armor Piece, but indesit they don't come with the armor 😅
hey spitbrix. i sent you an email about it but check out instruction 199 on the first booklet for the lego set lego ninjago city gardens. there is a clipping mistake
do you like sonic?
Nice, can you bring Mystery minifigs back? Maybe try getting some nice customs, old cmfs or older theme figures (Atlantis, older city minifigs or monster hunters)
how do i suggest an error
Everybody Gangsta til SpitBrux uploads an Hour long video ON A WEDNESDAY
I love spitbrux too
Yes, his name is definitely “Spitbrux”
NUT
Spitbrix is the best
@@ilikethe747you mean spitbrux? Right? But spitbrux is the best
The rarest mistake Lego I’ve ever had was from the Space Shuttle Discovery set. I got 2 copies of Bag 14 and no Bag 4. Called support, super friendly and apologetic, sent me a new bag free of charge that came direct from the factory in less than a week. The only other mistake I’ve come across was, at nearly the same time, when I was building the Saturn V. One of the 2x2 rounded slopes hadn’t been formed properly so it wouldn’t fit and I didn’t wanna mash it in there obviously. Thankfully I had a spare in my random parts bin and swapped it out, just glad it wasn’t one of the printed ones
3:03 Lego Instruction Designer: GOT YOUR NOSE!!!! HAHAHA
52:05 The 1x1 clip that they say is illegal is an older design where the prongs can't flex as much (Bricklink Part Number 2555) but there is a newer version that shares the same shape as the clip on the right which has a narrower base (Bricklink Part Number 15712) If you look closely you can see that the instructions show the newer design for the prongs of the clip.
Wedging a tile between the studs of a plate is legal as the lack of studs on the tile allow for more room in the connection, reducing the stress of each piece involved.
Placing a tile in a clippiece is also legal if the clippiece is a newer mold, as shown in the video
It is actually slightly frustrating that whenever he mentions illegal building moves, they aren't actually illegal
I’m old enough to remember when placing plates between studs was ok
I was just about to comment this after seeing the part about the Apollo Rocket
2:41 The laptop's flipped too.
Gandalf was so short because the Balrog did, in fact, pass
I actually did have a mistake a good few years back, I had a Star Wars advent calendar and instead of getting the cool snow Chewbacca minifigure I instead got a bunch of random parts that maybe made like a ship or something. Of course it didn’t have any instructions so I just got a pile of pieces
6:41 “Well, old if you consider 2005 being a long time ago.”
Me: *Old Man Noises*
I heard that plate between studs is illegal, so they don't use it, but tile between studs is still legal because of the groove that tiles have so it doesn't make stress on the bricks so its legal and thus lego keeps using it
There are actually medical situations where you might put an IV bag upside down. They don't have air in them, so a quick way to pause an IV delivery if the patient doesn't have a canula in with a valve is to just turn the bag upside down. It's unusual for a patient to be on IV without a canula, but in an emergency situation where speed is crucial, usually in an ambulance setting, they can be hooked up without one.
I love the idea of a sith trooper showing up with his red pajamas instead of his armor, sounds like a joke they would put on the skywalker saga
The image in the thumbnail is not an illegal technique. Were it to be studded pieces rather than flats it would be illegal but not that
3:48 it might be just a weird cutoff, but I was focusing on the fact that Iron Spiders top-right back spike thingy is just missing its top half...
This set isn't even out yet and it has an error. On the new transformers bumblebee set, if you look at the 360 video in the product images, the jetpack/windshield is placed where the license plate should be in robot mode and isn't folded like it's supposed to be. All the other images have it placed in the correct spot and folded properly
I love your videos man
Thanks dude 🤝
I found something wrong in the instructions to set 40713 the Japanese Postcard. It says on page 50 that you need 5 black 4X12 plates, but you only need 4 and you only get 4.
But yea, double lego sets are cool.😂
@@PettPett11you forgot to switch accounts
@@kaspertjeezel3906 ?
@@PettPett11 you commented on your own comment. I thought u wanted to do that with a separate account and just forgot to switch
@@kaspertjeezel3906 oh no. But thanks for helping😄
For the rollercoaster set, I have the missing flag mistake, but I didn't check the number mistake. I'll have to get back to you on that.
Their modern quality control is amongst the worst. Almost every new piece has deep scratches and dents. The older pieces didn't. They don't even hide the pouring holes anymore...
What
@@AreosmithOffical What?
Doesn't that have to do with the experimenting they were doing around the time they wanted to have recycled plastic bricks? Seems like a lot is changing
The ‘armored car’ is a car that you can make from Whack! and Bash! from 2018.
22:00
the torso is backwards, the legs are backwards too, and one of the arms are upside down
The legs are correct; I double-checked that on my figurines. The arm is definitely wrong too though, yes; the thicker part is the upper arm.
22:02 the right arm is flipped over
2:14 The first thing I saw was the laptop stock image was flipped. Look carefully at the keyboard and you'll see the arrow keys are on the left. Most laptops would have them on the right side.
Mega video time!!!
50:35 this statement clearly doesn't work in a collection... the oldest one is the yellow castle. XD
Yea lol 😂
i think the starwars gunner in the harry potter calander is really funny
The biggest error I ever encountered in a lego set was in the Epic Dragon Battle ninjago set from like, over a decade ago. I remember there were two whole bags missing (one bag with the minifigures and then one with some pieces for the brick jail cell) and I had to call in and get them both replaced
Voldemort couldn’t take over a school Darth Vader took over half the galaxy 41:27
The Red car with the License plate. I would listen to the instructions even if it was incorrect because why would you put it on the grill anyway?
Got a new one for you! The Lego Star Wars Invisible Hand, set 75377, has a small error in the instructions. On page 62, step 107, it instructs you to place 3 of the 2 wide single stud plates, but in the image, the red outline showing the new parts outlines 4, including a piece placed 3 steps earlier
7:50 its obviously liquid helium, which would certainly not help the patient.
The Jet set uses the new tile with clip, so it is not illegal.
10:10 if you've bought this set ask lego to send it over since it didn't come in the set, if you're missing pieces or they're deformed they'll send them for free
i havent watched the video, but that thumbnail is from the Fender Stratocaster lego ideas line. that specific instruction is part of building the amplifier to pair with the guitar, specifically the circuitry.
Have you ever mentioned Lego UCS millennium falcon rule braking? You have to overbend some pieces to put 3 hole red liftarms. And there are some other things
In the LEGO rivendell Set was an illegal building technik for the mushrooms on the trees.
Nothing like an hour-long banger from SpitBrix
The clock in the Winter Village ad also shows a different time than the build.
i always love when sets show up in these that I personally own
The shopping street: the lady construction in her bucket is doubled to indicate that her bucket can move back and forth
Droid is my favorite Lego Star Wars character
37:04 Obviously the criminal minifig is hijacking the chopper.
On the Artemis SLS set (10341) the piece at the end of the retractable walkway (4211357) is shown in the box art and phots as upside down if you refer the instructions step 419.
Also, step 491 of Space Shuttle Discovery (10283) is an illegal building technique!
76391 Hogwarts Icons that is still in retail had a major error. On the box, tile and manual they got the "Titilandus" title wrong, so the had to reisue the hole box :)
Hey spit, i dont know which carriage it was but in set 60051 in the instructions for that carriage they tell you to build the bogies first and then the middle part on the underside, however when you are told to connect the bogies the middle part is already there, and in the next step you build it
>"If you consider 2005 a long time ago"
>next year 2005 will be 20 years ago

One time I got the Creator 3 in 1 Flatbed Truck With Helicopter and there was a tiny part in the wheel while building the trailer. So with that part being there, it wouldn't let me put it on, so I got a different wheel and it worked.
6:37 this set doesn't have a age limit despite being a 2005 set
The Beach House from a couple years ago had a weirdly printed set of instructions for adding some clear cheese slopes to a blue plate to represent waves in the ocean. This is all well and good, but the instructions make it look like you're supposed to put them directly behind each other, rather than offset at a diagonal like on the box. This mistake is so evident that even the copy of the set that Jang built for his review has the slopes misaligned.
14:43, nah, I honestly hate printed pieces. Every set I get with printed pieces has half of them slightly misaligned. With stickers I can always have them centered properly.
3:34 editing mistake, u can see the box for a second. Still, amazing video.
51:28 its legal building technique because its different lego piece. its 15712 not 12825. This change in modified 1x1 tile make this connection legal
The technique in apolo 7 is not illegal since it doesn't put stress on the piece
48:00 It's pleasing to know that when my mocs have confusing instructions, I'm not bad at it, I'm actually continuing an ancient LEGO tradition!
37:00 plot twist: the figure in the helicopter is the disguised crook
Tiles slotted between studs is a legal technique. PLATES between studs is not.
There is also illegal technique in 31045 boat on step 43 :)
Spitbrix sounds kinda different, I hope he's ok.
even the thumbnail breaks the rules
The H-shaped beam isn't just clipping through the axle, it's clipping into a couple of other beams.
The explanation for the blue power jet set is flawed because the brick being held has smaller dimensions
LEGO Pie sounds kinda crunchy.
In set 71754: Water Dragon from Ninjago, all of the steps from 228-233 are missing the waters dragon's head, even though it is there on steps 227, 229 and 234.
I have the Speed Champions GTR Nismo, I gave middle finger to the instruction and stuck the sticker the right way.
I bet that Lego watches these videos to correct the mistakes
I had that cement mixer as a child
You will always have great content. Keep up the good work.
You sound much more lively in this video, it makes it more enjoyable!
There's so many sets I've seen where you add a piece, then the next step doesn't show that part i added
51:50 I think that is suppose to be a plate not a tile. The models they use aren't that detailed, just look at the arch piece, it's has no anti-studs. And also it does not have the trim that tiles usually have, while the tile shown on the legal diagram does have that trim so if they were saying that putting a tile in that specific type of clip was illegal then it would have the trim, but it does not so it's not a tile. If anyone says that (it's lacking the small holes on the bottom of the plate so it's can't be a plate), then I will again point to the fact that the arch piece has no anti-studs so these are low quality models and lego seems very thorough with alway having the trim on models if it a tile
I’m new to watching Lego content, so this is probably a silly question, but what makes something an illegal technique in Lego? Is it just stress on bricks?
Correct. They're brick connections that put stress on the bricks and can result in cracking or damage over time.
I have a ucs x-wing set and the instruction book came with a misprint. It goes from step 110 something to 150 and then back to normal around 130 something
3:17 the antler colors are different in the instructions and box art
6:30 Thats no ordinary droid, thats K-2SO! He's a main character in Rouge One!
I don't know if you know, but in the Optimus Prime lego set, the stickers of the legs, in the instructions and in the various images of the set are placed upside down, while the original drawing of the character, also present in the instructions, shows the drawings on the legs in the right direction.
At 5:20 the plate in the top middle that makes a hole is off centered
15:04
the left headlight on the car is also crooked
I had a Lego Star Wars set that advertised having a couple mini figures but had none when you opened the box
36:05 Ive seen a bunch of sets like that
WE ARE GONNA HAVE A MENTAL BREAKDOWN WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Will LEGO come after you if you use an illegal technique?
I found a page skip in the Lego booklet, set number 60420 the Lego city excavator set in page 38 and randomly zooms to page 63.
The thumbnail actually isn’t an illegal technique
Does putting a smooth tile thing in between the studs of a brick count as illegal?
At 12:27, I thought it was a shaky image, then I saw the other lego sets to the left and right.
At timestamp 2:41 the set on top is actually a model you can build using Lego Technic sets 42072 and 42073.
“If you consider 2005 old”… spit, 2005 was 19 years ago
Almost two whole decades
That set is older today than how old rock raiders was when the set released
54:17 this reminds me of my friend. in his copy of The skull sorcerer's dragon, he got a pot piece instead of the mask piece for Nya
it was even the same color
With that music note piece maybe the instruction image was supposed to be emulating it being placed on that third stud but how it'd look in perspective it would appear over that end pf the cloud?
Unpopular opinion: stickers dont bother me
"Old if you consider 2005 to be a long time ago"
That's literally the year I was born 💀
(I'm 18)
For the Lego Technic Lamborghini there's another one in the instructions it says the wrong length of a lime green beam
"Well, if you think 2005 was a long time ago" ...my fella in christ that was *18 years ago.* there are adults with houses who weren't alive in 2005
bro sorted my night out
:0 last time i saw an illegal thingy it tought that that wasn't like that and a single stud is okay
a 1By1 LEGO piece what even is a 1By1 Lego piece yep, you’re banned have a good night.
An hour!? When am I gunna watch this!?😂
Yoo can i get a hi
hi
Hi?
Hi
HI your mum looks nice
Actually, I should correct myself:
Hello there!
Tiles between studs is not an illegal technique tho.
