Note: Lox don't have a 1 or 2 stars and of course they all have a % chance to drop trophies like everything else.

Thanx.. Old vid but theirs been no need to update this one cuz it still applies.. I've been playing a new game starting like last month and build all these things over again.
I found a nice small mountain biome that I’ve gotten no start wolves from. Looks like I’ll be camping out at night for the 2 start wolves. Fingers crossed they spawn there too. I hope they don’t spawn in a pack though. I use a double thick stone wall for containment and a hut to stay close. Nice video. Looks like you have spent quite some time building it.
They do have a small chance of never spawning in some small mountain biomes according to some people.. But they just might have needed to be lucky. As long as you see a 1 star it means a 2 star can spawn. They do spawn in packs of 2-4 wolves but its just 1 as a 2 star if one spawns, most of the time time it will be 3 reg wolves.
Remember the tips of moving a bit and making noise (hit rocks or trees) the sounds will attract new spawns.
Very instructive video especially how to find 2* wolves and boars. Boars also eat carrots and turnips. I've had given them carrots before the update with onions... With turnips had bad experience finding the seeds.. I found only once a plant in the swamps. From that I grew everything I have now. I have never found another plant since🤣
Did I forget to add the carrots and turnips and onions... Over sight..

So...an you find 1 and 2 star lox or can you only find no star lox? I've had no luck finding anything other than 0 star lox. I'm guessing either Iim unlucky, they don't exist or I'm doing something wrong.
Ya their is no 1 and 2 start Lox.
@@bigdaddykarvix43 yeah I found that out shortly after I made the comment. Hopefully they add them an make a way for chickens yo star.
A star system for lox would make them to strong for most people to deal with when getting to planes. Have you gone back to forest and find a 2 star Red troll? Then your like I'm a boss on planes and nothing really hurts me then he smashes you threw your block and almost 1 shots you. 2 star lox smash prob do like 200 dam or so.
I want chickens to attack mobs and go into a frenzy after like 10+ die, that would be funny.
I didn't know block to aim and always struggled with my food aim. I use bow to aim now and have heard of block to aim many times after I thought to bow to aim.
lol ya me too at start. You never just think about it until one day your holding block and looking around and go hey.. I can just hold block when throwing stuff too and it'll be aiming at what i want to be aimed at. Then you kick yourself for trying to do stuff the hard way when it was so simple it was right their in front of you the hole time.

Awesome video! Did they patch this lately or did they just patch the boars to have to be standing on the ground?
No they don't have to be standing on the ground, any surface will do, but they need a certain amount of space or they will not eat.. Advanced farms have the space but block it off with walls to lock them down in place, but can be tricky to do so I opted for a easy method anyone can do without getting a head ack. Low roofs was blocking them from eating too, but high roofs will work, I just never needed them.

Do you have any technique to throw food to them with less space? I really got this problem when I made farm area and no space floor, always throw food out of the floor.
R U holing block to aim like i said? Next step in tight area's would be trial and error 1 piece at a time moving back or forward until u get the right arc.. Next is were you might be at, and that is to build a temp roof or angle beam so when you throw it it will bounce off of it and down to the small floor space. Or even move yourself up higher or above and drop it. The high space that needs to be above the breeder for eating space isn't to much, but idk the exact spacing but if it for you a full wall length or 2 should be enough, find the small square your want it fall to drop it on that, remove the floor let it fall or anything like that or if you can manage to drop it threw a hole below you it could be a perm thing were you don't have build a small square then remove it.
But i have not had to go that far so i can't describe a process in better detail, moving back a step and hold block to aim and try again was all i had to ever do.
Once I tame a 2 star, can I bring it back to my settlement to breed it? Or should I breed it before bringing it to my main base?
Ya U can, it all depends on were your other wolf is you want to breed it with. But what i do is have a reg or 1 start tamed already and just have it near by, once i tame the 2 star the other wolf will be near by and i make sure the 2 start is protected via walls/roof then just bring other wolf to it to breed a few babies until i get a couple 2 star babies then once their are 2 adults and at least 1 other 2 star their then i grab the 2 and then make the trip to main base.. That way i have a back up incase some troll pops up or something or one path finds bad and gets lost. Then once their at main base and in breeder and its working you can relax :)
PS: those drakes really like to pop up and target your wolfs.
amazing video, its hard throwing the food, for lox maybe not, how about wolves and boars, u throw from stairs?
I did say how, quickly.. But ya hold block then u can be still and aim without moving. Generally stand half a step down like i did, hold block then aim for middle.
@@bigdaddykarvix43 btw i got issue lox cage, i dont know who broke that fence, but its make 1 lox drop to down, so lox didnt produce baby anymore, i needed fix that fence again and bring 1 lox at top again, break from lox it`s self?
Yes Lox will break the fencing and agro to anything near by so they move and break stuff more..
Its weird my first one they never broke it once, my second and same build they do break it. I forget if iron beams go side ways.. Been to long with no updates.. But you could build out of iron beams... U could try placing the 4X8 base in the other direction, it might be a north/south vs east/west thing, unlikely but maybe.
But deffently keep the stars/ramp going up and just remove the top part and rebuild that last step when needed, and build a gate/ramp out of breeding pit to move lox outside... They make good parameter guards lol and you'll have a quick replacement near by.. Also you could try to make a roof over breeder you just have to keep some empty space over if to before you have roof.

Aren't they breed only when legs touch ground?? Not planks.
No, they can breed anywhere, they just need that room to eat. Its all about space and distance. Just simple breeders that can keep pumping out babies for armies. This is what I used to make my Boss kill vids with 40 wolves and 40 lox taking on Yagluth and to get 40 more wolves after they all died to make my vid on killing all 5 boss's with a 10 sec kill on Yagluth.
Is this before or after home and hearth?
This is hearth and home and for frost caves i have not seen any changes affecting them.

No, food is just to make them happy enough to breed.
