Best serie for ever. Chris Carter is amazing.
I never liked this end to Pusher. While it can be seen as an act of kindness by his sister, it didn't seem fitting, somehow. It's a beautiful scene, though.
The power only works from speech, right? It’s not telepathy like how Prof. X from Xmen can hijack anyone’s mind. Of all Mulder’s crazy theory (that turns out to always be true) he never tried to wear earplugs to block the speech entering his mind.
@@iganpparamarta8813 It's never made clear that Pusher and his sister control by voice, but it is implied. There does seem to be an element of telepathy because in the first Pusher episode, he knows the name of a SWAT officer upon seeing him, and asks him to take off his mask, almost as if seeing his face helps him make better contact.
In the courtroom, Pusher only says, 'not guilty, your honour', gazes innocently at the judge, and a shimmering sound can be heard, either to symbolize an influence, or the judge changing his thoughts.
@@raksh9 Thanks for replying. I came up with the crazy earplug theory because on the mind control episode (people went crazy because digital device urge them to kill) Mulder is immune due to his colour blindness.
Edit: I think it’s from different episode, in the end it was Scully that went crazy and almost shot Mulder after watching video tapes
@@iganpparamarta8813 For a moment, I confused Wetwired from the third season with Blood from the second season. You're referring to Wetwired, where people are programmed to kill others through subliminal messages in cable TV signals. At first I thought you meant Blood, where people kill each other through messages flashed to them through digital displays. But yes, Mulders color blindness protected him from the cable TV subliminals.
