No joke, if any of you guys are writers, this is the best track I've ever found to listen to while writing. This has worked wonders for my plot holes and it just makes my heart soar every time

The picture on this track is the portrait of Bayon Temple built in 12th century by King Jayavarman VII during Khmer Empire era. It is now located in Siem Reap province, Cambodia. Its mysterious look matches very well with such track. Really appreciate for showcasing the beauty of this marvelous treasure on such wonderful music.

Amazing what our ancestors did.
I am writing my own high fantasy novel while listening to it. It's called "Sol Imperium". I spent nearly five years to fully realize the lore and world-building behind it. Now I am writing down chapters with help from a friend.
During this tough time of corona, I lost money and opportunities. Now I just figured I should spend this free time doing something creative. I already completed a few chapters, once my initial twelve chapters are done I'll turn it into a manuscript. Then I'll email it to various literary agents....all I got is hope and imagination. This is my last chance to do something truly meaningful in my life. After this, my youth will end and I don't know what else to do afterward.

It amounted to nothing. However, it taught me how to write. How to keep at it. Don't ever think your first novel is a failure. My first three were utter trash, but it taught me valuable lessons. No writing is bad writing. KEEP WRITING! Learn from reading. Learn from "how to write" books. But your best teacher is by writing. Just keep at it. Don't stop. I did for a decade. Good heavens, do I ever wish I could get those years back. Promise your future self, no matter what you do, no matter what job you get, keep writing.

Sul I don’t think that’s what people mean when they say these things. I’ve looked up to heroes on tvs my whole life, and I’ve always wanted to fight and adventure too. But when I said that, I didn’t realise that although I wanted to fight, it wasn’t with a sword or on a battle field. We just want to feel the same power and triumph our heroes do. For heroes on the Tv, it’s obvious what makes them feel this way; fighting enemies and making great adventures. But for a lot of people, they haven’t found what it is for them yet.
i feel this on a personal level. i am 25 and i feel like life is so stagnant. so stale and gray. My imagination does not let me stay still and stop thinking of great planes or forests of this caliber, we need something to feed the ones that imagine worlds beyond what some could never.
The only place we can truly be free is in our imagination.
“Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.” That background is perfect for this music

dawn breaks, just as the next, and the next, and the years stretch on- and if the Soldier and the Miracle Worker and the Singer of Ancient Choruses and the Walker of Brimstone are very clever, and very lucky, there will be no last chapter to their lives. just a note tucked between the pages. a barely-goodbye. a _back-soon_ .

I am an artist. I searched for instrumental music to listen to while I work. This music stirs my immortal soul, and I love it!
I listen to this kind of music while writing! For the kind of story I'm working on, this track specifically fits very well.
When listening to epic music, often I feel like I could save the world with the simple move of my finger.
But while listening to this piece, I feel I would like to thank for how beautiful the world can be.
Despite every thing the world as much beauty still. And you can change the world by just the movement of your finger . Every action is change
That’s why I’ve made a separation between types of epic music for me. There’s the epic music like two steps from hell or Audiomachine, which makes me feel like I’m right in a battle and have to be brave and fight. I call those „mid-epic music“ because it’s right in the middle of the battle.
But this type of music like Dan Thiessen I call „post-epic music“ because it makes me feel like after a battle. The storm has calmed down, peace has finally been established. The sun rises over a beautiful field where the flowers start to bloom. The people get out of their houses and return to a peaceful and beautiful life. Some time ago I constantly listened to mid-epic, but recently I’ve discovered the post-epic and I can’t stop listening it.

Can we take a moment to appreciate that this legend didn't put a single add in this masterpiece? Also, I play viola and this helped me gain some more pride in my instrument. My orchestra be bullying us at every chance they get, especially the cellists and violinists XD.
I play viola I am not very good yet and this is the only viola soundtrack I have ever found. This has really inspired me I am going to try even harder to become better at playing.
You do that. And maybe, someday, if the situation presents itself, and you heart is in the right place, you will rise above the noise and reintroduce to the world, the beauty, the power, and the heart of an instrument too long hidden in the shadows. The Viola.

The only issue with the viola is that the cello can basically play the same range. The tone of the viola is really still quite amazing :)

This music has unique beauty. It fills one's soul, and can make anyone feel, at least a little bit, better than before they started listening to it. For those who really dive into the music, it transports them into other places, into a dream world full of sentiment, wonder and majesty. And we may be upset when thinking that such world doesn't exist, and, at first glance, it really doesn't. But if we open our eyes more intentively, we can see elements of it in reality, in small things and big, true feelings. Feelings that lie within ourselves and others. And even if we don't find that wondrous world so obviously, cound't it be enough the one we hold inside of us? A world so beautiful that we can see clearly when we listen to this music?
