He sat atop the massive engraved marble slab, surrounded by an endless sea of white clouds in the golden sunlight. There seemed to be no land around, or surface save for that which he was on. "Where am I?" He asked, looking about. He slowly go up, after waking up just moments before. There were large floating rocks scattered around, each with a budda face carved in all sides with trees and shrubbery growing atop them. Water spewed from the eyes of each face, creating an infinite waterfall that defied the physics he knew existed. The sight was beautiful and breathtaking, and although he has never felt such confusion or a sense of shock as he does now, he couldn't deny the fact this was truly something to behold. Looking around even more, each facet and surface on the slab he was on, the etches and carvings gave it an ethereal look. Edging closer to the outer rim, he peered over to see underneath. Nothing, he thought. There was nothing under except clouds and open air. The underside of the marble slab had floating rings with yet more carvings. It looked like an epic battle of glorious heroes and gods, but from which timeline or existence he knew not. Standing up once more, he again looked around. This all made no sense, and just hours before he was at home and sleeping away the hours of night. Was this a dream? Was it reality? If it was real, then... What is this place?..

The sight was beautiful and breathtaking, and although he has never felt such confusion or a sense of shock as he does now, he couldn't deny the fact this was truly something to behold. Looking around even more, each facet and surface on the slab he was on, the etches and carvings gave it an ethereal look. Edging closer to the outer rim, he peered over to see underneath. Nothing, he thought. There was nothing under except clouds and open air. The underside of the marble slab had floating rings with yet more carvings. It looked like an epic battle of glorious heroes and gods, but from which timeline or existence he knew not. Standing up once more, he again looked around. This all made no sense, and just hours before he was at home and sleeping away the hours of night. Was this a dream? Was it reality? If it was real, then... What is this place?..
