Another great video, thank you! With the Zutto do you ever grill over it not using pots and pans? I’m assuming that would be a mess and could shorten the Zuttos lifespan. Also, for the shelter, is that one you can sleep in, or is it for hanging out? Looks like it would be perfect for the kids when they want to get outside of the trailer
I don’t grill anything that has a possibility of dripping down to the Zutto. It will clog the pores and propane won’t come out. I have grilled things like chestnuts and dried squid and fish before with the zutto. It works perfectly fine. The shelter is for us to hang out during day time. We sleep in our trailer at night. I occasionally sleep in tents in the summer when I go to camping sites that are too small to pull our trailer to. Thanks for watching!

I'm really looking forward to getting one of those new Takibi skillet/hot-sandwich makers as soon as I can. I see that Campsaver has them on backorder at $356.95, so I'll probably wait and see if they make to the Snow Peak site for less. I see you picked up the new Sayou Tea Set. How do you like it so far? I keep dribbled tea all over the place with mine, but the employees at the shop seem to like it when I put on a pot of tea or coffee to share with everyone.
I actually backordered mine since Black Friday from campsaver. The estimated arrival date at the time was April of this year. Then for some reason I received a unit in the mail around Christmas time. What a big surprise! You can wait for a 20% sale at campsaver and backorder it to save some money. The most impressive thing about this cast iron skillet is the coating. It's very non-stick and very easy to clean! I've used other non Snow Peak cast iron and they don't compare! As for the Sayou tea set, I actually enjoy it so much that I use it at home also. When you press the lid down, make sure that the rubber seal is not weirdly aligned otherwise you might get a leak. I think that will help with your dripping problem. Thanks for watching!
@@SirCampalotOutdoors I think I've ended up using my Snow Peak gear more at home and at work than anywhere else. My desk at work (family gift shop) is now my 4-unit IGT with standing height legs. This means that I can pop in a flat burner and make coffee or tea really easily. The Hanging Rack hold my papers, my computer sits on top, and my mini-refrigerator is hidden under the Long Extension Table that I've put on a 90-degree corner on the right side, making an L-shaped desk. Put a table skirt on it, and viola! I've got my work space with all the amenities. Lately I've taken to making hot sandwiches for lunch with the cold weather not just for myself, but for the other employees, which everyone seems to appreciate.

You’re absolutely right! Though it isn’t fire resistant, it is ok to use propane or charcoal fire in the shelter. Glad you like my content and thanks for watching!

Is the skillet new for 2024? I never heard of it before then I saw a Reddit post about it and next thing I know your video popped up on RUclips haha.
It’s actually a 2023 product but like with everything else in 2023, it was delayed; even in Japan. The estimate ship date for US for this product is June. So I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived around Christmas time. I had place an order during Thanksgiving and wasn’t expecting much but I guess I got lucky! Thanks for watching!

they are the snow peak mitts . i have them, but they are no better than what you can get at a hardware store - fireproof lining etc, for about a tenth of the price. I feel like a fool for buying them

@@weichen5422 Hey there, thanks for the interest! Indeed, unfortunately the squares are out of stock... We should be getting new inventory in a few months. I do want to say that the round burner performs just as good as the square, with a more "natural" looking flame than the square. It doesn't necessarily go all the way to the corners of the Takibi, but it works just as well. Once the lava rocks are hot, the warmth is pretty uniform. Anyway, that doesn't necessarily mean that you should get a round burner if you don't like the look, but I figured I'd let you know about it anyway. Thanks! Was the skillet even hot?
It was not the hottest that it could be. I only had the propane fire pit at 40-50% max output due to being cautious of the Mesh Shelter ceiling. Thanks for watching!
